you can call people out on not tipping you? culture shock, in england a tip is a courtesy, not a right, so it sucks when i don't get tips but i kind of expect it. is the majority of your pay packet made up by tips? geniunely curious here, it's so different in england.

I get 2.15 an hour (minimum wage is 6.50 or something). Most of my paycheck is from the tips. so yeah.

whaaat? how is that legal?! how do your employers get away with that, that's crazy :(

I think tips should be earned, not begged for. If someone is a good waiter and then says "I deserve a good tip right?" I would be less willing to leave them one. This is just my opinion though.

Working at Sonic has made me a better tipper too, especially at Sonics. :P And especially when I'm with my friends who act stupid, I give the carphop more just to make up for us all being there. :/
