I always liked the look of Arizona onscreen (actually, it was one of the first states I learnt the name of) but I couldn't cope with that sort of heat.

I don't think I've heard of Shelby before. How long has she been around? (Or is it he? That part's not clear.)

It's a dry heat, so people who come from humid climates find it's not that bad? When it's humid here it's only a fraction of what they deal with in the eastern part of the U.S. The desert does have its own sort of beauty. But I think lots of green is prettier :)

I thought Shel was a "she" simply because I couldn't feel any balls (yes, I molested the cat, lol) but he's long-haired so it's kinda hard to tell. He's kind of large and just LOOKS more male, plus Anakin picks fights with him a lot, so I've concluded he's actually a neutered boy.

Awww I feel your pain! Back in the day this post would have had at least 5 comments from different people last night, if not more. Stupid Facebook. (yes I can blame FB for all evils)

Thanks, will answer them later on. What are "simple pleasures"? It sounds like a new boygroup or something... Or is that just the small things of life I like? (Sorry, my English is getting really rusty from never using it except with a few not too bright first year kids.)

I'm always amazed at what you think is cold. *LOL* Last summer we had about 3 days that actually got warmer than your 70F. All others were lower. I hope this year will be a lot warmer!
