A/N: Another tiny fic for yet another challenge ;D 365_themes, this time!
Her face gives nothing away, which Aang thinks is ridiculously unfair. He's the Avatar, yet he has the most expressive face in existence. Un. Fair. She just stares at him for a long moment before her blue eyes flick to Zuko, apparently sizing him up.
Aang shifts awkwardly as the silence stretches on. Of course it is Zuko who breaks it; the firebender still seems to have patience issues. "Well?" he snaps. "Are you going to punish us, or what?"
Katara's eyes widen in surprise. "Punish you? No, I-"
Aang blinks at this. He'd assumed the same as Zuko, since she'd caught them making out when they were supposed to be training (and he knew there'd been a reason why they were only supposed to do that on their own time). The two boys exchange a glance.
"I wanted to tell you guys that you don't have to hide it; y'know, it's okay."
Zuko frowns; Aang recognises this as puzzlement. He laces his fingers through Zuko's, and Katara giggles at the confused look the airbender receives.
"Look," she says, and Aang knows that this is her 'I mean business' tone; "Just do what you want - when you're not supposed to be training. You're gonna have to tell Sokka and Toph, too."
Zuko pulls a face at this, but Aang plants a quick kiss on the back of his hand. Katara is already walking away. "Remember," she shouts over her shoulder. "You tell them, or I take back my blessing!"
