Summary:
Year: 2004
Scene: in the Visual Kei music scene; two main groups: PS Company, and all the other bands.
PS Company is at the moment on top of the music industry, and in order to protect, and increase their monopoly, anybody, singer or not, related to the PS Company, can't interact with other companies; especially relationships outside the company are forbidden. Is this powerful family going to assure themselves at the top, or will the isolation cause their selfdistruction?
Extra: This is my first fiction (ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE), I am really excited about writing this, but not too sure this going to be good. I am really hoping, I can at least get a 6/10 (LOL). All comments are welcome, either good or bad, I have to start somewhere, so please please comment, it will help me improve. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

PROLOGUE 1/2

Shou was lying on his bed, his arms and legs spread wide open, starring at the ceiling in utmost excitement. He swiftly turned to look at the clock on his night stand; it was 5AM. He took a deep sigh, and looked past the clock outside his window. The window was wide open, and two red curtains that were completely moved to the opposite walls of the window, were slightly dancing as a gentle breeze entered the room. Shou hadn't seen such a beautiful sky in a long time. The background was light blue, but orange and pink wide clouds were all over; it was breathtaking. He then turned back to stare at his ceiling, he closed his eyes, bent his knees, and began frantically hitting his bed with his feet. He stopped, and while laughing again he held up high to his face a sheet of paper that he hadn't dropped since he had entered his room early that morning at 12AM. The paper was dated 2004 September 1st , he began reading, for the umpteenth time that morning, the cursive line just above some signatures; Alice nine is officially a band under PS Company.
He then quickly brought up his cell phone, which he was tightly holding in his other hand. No messages; Hiroto wasn't responding. He knew that they all were going to have a big celebration party sometime that evening, but at the moment he just didn't want to be in that house. His cousin Ruki, vocalist of the already famous band the Gazette, had called one of his sex friends, also known as SeFre. He had no intention of staying there, as the bed on the other side of the wall behind his head, was going to be relentlessly, and aggressively slamming, and loud moans were going to feel the house.
Shou and Ruki had been leaving together for 4 years now, but this SeFre affair, had began two years ago. At the beginning it was maybe once a month, but the encounters kept on increasing, and all the time with a different person.
Things didn't use to be like that, Ruki had always been a little eccentric, but he was a loving and caring person, whom Shou looked up to. When it came to matters such as love, he was his number one role model. Ruki used to consider love one of the most sacred things, to be respected, and nurtured; sex being an important part of it. However, two years ago, something had happened, when Ruki had gone missing. People began restlessly looking for the missing vocalist, and as the research led to no good results, band members and family began panicking and distressing over the possibility that the young vocalist might not ever be found. But, he had returned exactly two weeks later, and when he did, the lives of Ruki and the people around him had changed forever.
Ruki rarely smiled, he always had some slick and cynical comment about everything. He became overprotective, and almost overbearing towards Shou, always carefully keeping an eye on the tall young man, especially when it came to his love life, always reminding him that they had to date in the company, yes; Dating anybody, singer or not, who had nothing to do with PS Company was forbidden. That was the only one thing that had always bothered him about being part of the PS group. He knew about it, and he knew that some people still went behind their backs and dated whoever they pleased, but Ruki was very adamant in stressing that matter each time.
Shou just wanted his old cousin back, he didn't care how he was going to do it, but he couldn't stand this situation any longer. Countless times already he he had tried to bring up the subject, but every time he did Ruki was very swift at shutting him up. Shou had also tried to search all over the cousins room, in the hope of find something, any thing that could give him a clue as to what had happened two years ago but could find nothing.
He sighed again and trying to rid his thoughts of Ruki, he looked at his cell phone; nothing. Shou sat up against his bed-stand and began starring perplexed at his cell phone; that was unlike Pon. The doorbell rang and Shou could hear Ruki's steps walking past his closed bedroom door. He then got up and opened the door. Ruki was wobbly walking towards the stairs.
- Ru, are you drunk? - said Shou as Ruki made no sign of noticing his presence. Ruki didn't turn back and just aimlessly waved a hand in the air, as he bumped into a wall just before the staircase. Shou hurried towards the short man, who immediately shrugged his cousin away.
- I - am … al- right … the door. - replied Ruki as he began his decent. Shou sighed looking down, and noticed a folded paper It most had fell from Ruki when he was helping him regain his balance. He was instinctively about to shout the cousins name, when his mind made him think against it. He looked at the paper. It was of a yellowish color, clearly very old, and looking at the wrinkles, at a point in time it had been scrunched up. Unknowingly, Shou's heart began racing. Did that paper had anything to do with what he had been looking for the past two years. He was just too excited to think straight, and as he heard Ruki coming up with his guest, he rushed into his room, and locked himself in.
His heart still racing, he sat at his desk, and looked at the paper. What he was about to do wasn't exactly ethical, it wasn't his business, but something inside him told him he had to read it; fate had wanted him to. As he heard Ruki's door slam closed, he slowly unfolded the paper, and began reading.
2002 September 2nd
Ruki,
My dear baby, I don’t even know where to start
- Shall we ?- Shou could hear Ruki's voice, loud and clear coming from the other room
Just looking at your angelic sleeping face, makes me wonder why am I even doing this. I can still feel your warmth around me, making this so intolerably hard to do.

This is going to get quite messy, I hope you are going to be able to read in-between my tears; tears that are just pouring, and I can’t seem to be able to stop, because I really don’t want to do this, not to you, my beloved Ruki.

The Ruki that was always there for me, that saved me when I saw no way out, when I thought it was the end. You gave me light, a new hope. I will never forget.

The Ruki that learn to know me so well, to the point that you knew something was wrong with me when I came here this morning, even though I kept on denying; you knew. You completely absorbed my essence, you understood me. I will never forget.

The Ruki with whom, I could finally envision a brighter future, filled with love, and security. Yes, because I felt safe with you, even tough I am the older one; you would never let anything happen to me. I will never forget.

The Ruki that always treated me like the most delicate of flowers whenever we made love, just like tonight; perfect. I will never forget.
- … I am coming in …
Rereading all of this, anyone would think I am the dumbest person on Earth to be doing this, but I have to, I must leave you, my most precious Ruki.
- Arg! Please slower … -
And in doing so I know I am going to cause you so much pain, and I can’t forgive myself for doing this, I don’t want to hurt you; you don’t deserve this, I am sorry, Ru-chan, so sorry.
- Argh! Not so hard … it hurts! -
I wish I had met you before him. Things would have been so much better!

But he needs me, he says he has changed, and I know that he had said that so many times, but this time is true; I can feel it.

So please, please, forget about me! Forget that I had ever even existed. I don’t care if you end up hating me, you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t, and I deserve it all.

And please, don’t change; keep being the kind, thoughtful and splendid person that you are. I wish you nothing less than the greatest happiness. And if one day, if you find it in your heart possible; please … forgive me.

Shou's heart was about to stop when he read the name of the sender

All the action had long ended in the other room, and Shou was still apathetically starring out of his window. The letter still in his hand, his mind empty, his eyes watery. He looked at the date again, today was exactly two years from the date. Clearly part of the mystery had finally been disclosed; he had waiting for this day for son long. However, as he realized his powerlessness in the whole situation, a lonely tear began rolling down his cheek; how was he going to solve this?
