Synopsis )
MAIN CHAPTER 7 PART 1 Takeru's birthday had been so innervating under so many aspects, he didn't even know how he had made it out without biting of anybody's head, as he had previously stated with his two quadruped loyal companions, and the fact that the major issues involved his siblings, was making him even more furious, but what else was he to expect from them anyway? As usual they acted the best of their worst. After the whole happy ordeal, Akira had dragged himself to his cottage, not wanting to stay a second more into that house; he needed a break from it, from everyone. Thus, there he was, his head lying flat on some documents on his desk, having refused to listen to that one tiny voice in his head, shouting the fact that he himself needed to rest in order to function.
However, the blonde had never been able to hear to that little voice, if he had he would have probably been out and gone from that place long time ago, in fact he was still wondering the reason why that little voice hadn't yet moved out. Slowly raising his head, he turned on his chair, staring out the window, noticing the sun already high in the sky; he had overslept. He roughly scratched his head yawning as the events of the previous evening slammed back int o his already aching skull.
He hadn't expected so much from Takeru, it was his birth day in the first place and when it came to pleasurable affairs, he always become the most immature brat, but Yasuno was a different case. He was the eldest of them all, for crying out loud thought the lawyer, for he couldn't understand how to any of the his two siblings in question, having the birthday boy disappear in the middle of his own celebration was going to be oh so unnoticeable, as the elder had dared to state. Moreover, Takahiro as definitely up to something, which he had no clue about, but the presence of Takamasa, Takami, were a clear sing of it, and his head hurt even worse at the mere thought of whatever had gone down, which would have most likely required his future attention.
However, what he still couldn't quite fathom, was Yuu's presence. All that the brunette gambler was supposed to do, was to protect the younger brother in case anything were to have happen in his nightly ventures, that was all their deal consisted of; that was the two of them had agreed on. Akira had always been a great deal too observant of his siblings, much more than the six blondes could have imagined, besides, that was all he did, those were his priorities.
Three years ago, he had noticed Takanori acting in a rather unusual way, and had also noticed the younger's spark of interest during Takahiro's conversions regarding the amount of money that gambling could provide. Thus, the night the younger blond had first escaped, Akira had previously followed Takanori to their horse stall, and to the irony of it all, out of all the horses, the younger had picked Aki; his own horse. That night, it had taken the blonde lawyer a great amount of self control to simply allow the younger to fly off, as he considered one of the younger's bad qualities; stubbornness.
Takanori wasn't going to change his mind on whatever he had set himself to, that being the major issue, the blonde resolved it better to simply follow him, for London wasn't the safest place at that time of the day, and he had hoped Takanori would have at least thought about that fact. However, being horses not quite the unnoticeable kind of animals, he had to let the younger wonder of for a good amount of time. He then picked Kanon, and frenziedly galloped to the worst side of London, where most of Takahiro's tales took place, and where he was sure, or rather hoped, he would have found the younger.
Once arrived, and following a little search, of quite a number of bars, he finally came across Aki at a rather decrepit and notoriously bad bar called The Charred Pot. Wearing his hood, he tied Kanon at a tree and entered the bar, and spotting Takanori, he was about to go and seat at a further table in order to assure the younger safety, as he thought about how was he supposed to be doing this every night, and just as he pondered and various solutions he spotted a familiar brunette, the sight of whom quickly arose another solution, as he carefully got closer to said brunette.
-Enjoying your freedom … Aoi?- he nonchalantly inquired sitting at the table with the brunette, who slightly moved in his chair, absently glimpsing at the blonde.
-If it isn't my ex-lawyer ...- whispered the brunette, returning his gaze towards Takanori's game - ...what brings you among the likes of us?- finally inquired the brunette, who was playing with a coin in between his fingers.
-The little blonde you've been staring at ...- plainly stated Akira, glimpsing at Takanori.
-What about him?- swiftly stated the gambler, revolving his gaze to the hooded lawyer - … I didn't make you that type of person you know Akira, his just a child … - jokingly observed the brunette in feign stupor, holding a hand to his mouth.
-His name is Takanori, and he is one of my younger brothers - declared the blond in a slight angry tone, in response to the other, who tried to call him a pedophile.
-You know...- he then resumed, reacquiring his calm- ... I really can't have you being caught gambling or stealing anymore … no mater how noble your cause is ...- swiftly professed the blond
-I have stopped playing Robin Hood a long time ago ...- nonchalantly stated the brunette
-Yet … you are here ...- skeptically pointed out the lawyer
-What can I say? … - shrugged the brunette - … a leopard … cannot change his fur?- coolly stated the brunette returning his gaze on the poker match, which Takanori was successfully playing.
-Spots- readily corrected Akira
-… Whatever- swiftly shrugged the brunette, who seemed engrossed into the younger blonde's game.
-Well, I had a offer, to help keep you out of trouble, for a while- firmly explained the blonde.
-Which is? ...- uninterestedly replied the brunette still attentively watching the game.
-I'll pay you to protect my brother in his night adventures- clearly stated the blonde, at which the brunette slowly nodded in agreement.
-I'll do it - nonchalantly replied the brunette
-J-just like that- swiftly stuttered the blonde taking off guard by the brunette's swift and easy reply -... I haven't even stated how much I'll give you-
-I don't care, whatever price it's okay with me, besides ...- paused the brunette,a s he turned towards the brunette- … he is your brother, and knowing you, I doubt you'd refuse any sum I'd ask you- he then smirked, returning his gaze to the game - … which I won't … you saved me, from a sure conviction, and even though I still believe myself to have done nothing wrong in stealing from the rich to give to the poor, I due owe you big time, so I'll gladly do it- concluded the brunette
-I appreciate it … - gratefully thanked the blonde - … and, if I may ... I would also have another request ... regarding the money he will earn ...- he swiftly added, explaining how he was to collect fifty percent of Takanori's prizes and give them to him, who would have saved them for the younger, just in case he were to loss everything he had in an unfortunate hand, he would have had a back up. The brunette also agreed to that request, after which Akira lightly bowed at the brunette, who nodded in agreement, as the blonde cautiously got up, and giving one last look at the blonde, left the bar.
Sure enough, that night Aoi, or Yuu, which was his real name, had safely escorted the younger all the way home, protected him, and gave the lawyer part of his money ever since. However, he had noticed the brunette being around their manor in days he had no business being there, and yesterday's party was another of them, not mentioning how he had to grab all the attention with Takami's screaming incident.
Something was going on, something he couldn't yet place, but he had the strong feeling that the whole protection deal had somewhere along the way, taken a whole other level.
He sighed getting off his chair, walking towards Tora and Saga, who were now happily barking and jumping at him in front of a turned off fireplace. The blonde stopped and allowed himself to be assaulted and licked by both dogs, as he randomly caressed they furs.
-First Kazamasa ...- he whispered at the two dogs - ... now Takanori - he then sighed - I something has been going on and ...- he then paused taking a light breath - … and I don't know what- he concluded, scratching Saga between his ears, while Tora rested his feet, on the blondes knees, with his tongue dangling, as they all enjoyed the quietness of the room, until the door abruptly slammed open.
-A-ki-ra!- shouted a rather diverted blond -Let's play~! - proposed the younger dropping on the couch, as Tora and Saga happily left the elder blond, joining the younger.
-There is a reason for closed doors Takeru ... - resignedly sighed the lawyer, standing up, and walking towards the entrance, to close the door - … and I have no time for playing, you should know that ...- he reprimanded, looking at the younger, who was now pleadingly pouting at him, while flapping his eye-lashes - … I am not Yasuno, Takeru ...- blankly stated the blonde, siting at his desk, and turning his gaze to some of the papers on it.
-You are no fun ...- stated the younger in an offended tone, allowing Saga on his laps.
-Well, thank you - nonchalantly stated the blonde without averting his gaze from his papers, when a sudden knock befall on his door, which without waiting for a reply was soon after slammed opened, as a jolly young lady allowed herself in; another one, who had no idea how to face a closed door.
-Takami ...- resignedly sighed the blond, who was a bit surprised, but then again, not really.
-Akibu~!- shouted the brunette, who was about to run towards the lawyer, when she spotted the younger blond on the couch - … well well well, look who's here, if it isn't the devil's sperm ...- she then sarcastically commented firmly gazing at Takeru, while folding her arms in her chest.
-Well good-afternoon to you too … mother ...- calmly replied the younger, not giving the lady the time of the day, who simply smirked at the younger's remark - … bye the bye, I didn't remember inviting you to my birthday party- swiftly added the younger, nonchalantly looking up at the unhappily looking brunette.
-Well I don't remember asking you to sleep with my ex-future husband either ...- angrily spat the brunette
-Takami …- tried to intervene the elder blond, holding his head between his hands.
-What can I say ...- shrugged the blonde - … it is not my fault if he had righteously concluded my exquisite ass to be better than your overused vagi-
-Takeru!- loudly retorted Akira, who had swiftly got off his chair, to hold the brunette from jumping on the the younger blond - … please leave us alone- calmly requested the elder
-Tora, Saga, let's go get some candy … - sighed the blonde, calmly getting off the couch making sign to the two dogs, who willingly followed - … I mean you two must agree with me that … - he then paused looking back at the still struggling brunette -… too much sour cunt just makes you want some sweets, doesn't it now?- he then concluded, at which the two dogs barked, while they exited, as he banged the door behind himself.
-You little prick, you will go to hell!- quickly shouted the brunette.
-I am working on it!- yelled back the younger.
-I swear one of this days I'll kill him!- she then hissed
-You might wanna rethink that thought, if you treasure your own life Takami … - calmly stated the blonde, who had resumed his post at his desk, grabbing the papers on it, as the brunette indignantly puffed - … what brings you here?- he swiftly added.
-Well I came to see you, Akibu~ - chanted the lady, calmly walking behind the blonde, leaning over him, and placing her chin on his shoulder.
-On what account? … - absently asked the blonde, still staring at his papers, which were suddenly grabbed away from the brunette - … Ta-ka-mi … - slowly stated the lawyer, firmly emphasizing each syllable of the name with a slightly irate tone -
-Well on my marriage proposal of course!- swiftly replied the brunette twin - … come on we would be the best couple ever- she continued
-No - plainly spat blond - … now give me back my papers -
-Me, an illustrious and rich actress, you a rich and illustrious lawyer … simply perfect - heedlessly observed the brunette, heedlessly of the blondes previous refusal
-For the millionth time Takami. No. - sternly reconfirmed the blonde.
-And … - quickly resumed - … with my genes, we will be assured to have a female progeny - added the brunette, who was about to giggle, but decided against it, glancing at the absolutely-not-diverted expression on the blond's face.
-that ... was uncalled for, I apologize- she swiftly added in a serious tone, as the blonde newly fixed his glare on the papers on his desk.
-I was your first kiss? … - she then attempted in a hopeful tone
-… and Takahiro's … - observed the blonde - … and Takamasa's- plainly concluded the lawyer, at which the brunette, merely puffed, nonchalantly dropping the previously ceased papers on the desk.
-Could it be … - suddenly resumed the brunette in an almost spiteful tone - … that you actually fancy man, like the rest of you all anyway ...- angrily pointed out the brunette staring at the blonde - …no wonder you never had a sist- she almost proffered but quickly bit her tongue, swiftly averting her gaze from those of the quickly glaring blonde.
-I don't believe my sexual orientation to be any of your concern Takami, but if you must know … - quickly spat the blonde, gazing at the brunette, who readily interrupted him
-I do not need to know … I do not want to know … - swiftly stated the brunette - I ...- she then paused sadly staring at the blond - I do not think I would be able to stand being refused to another man … so just keep it to yourself … I do not want to know - she firmly concluded.
-However, let me point out this one thing, which I am sure you are perfectly aware of - she then swiftly added, in a rather serious tone - … you are soon going to want to raise from the status of Lawyer of Justice, and to do so you'll need a respectable status, which means you will have to have a family, which is composed by a husband and a wife … not another husband- plainly observed the woman - … and I doubt you will found another woman, who will accept to dealt with your family situation, or to whom you want to explain your family situation - continued the brunette, who had successfully gained the blonde's attention.
-Yet you have just declared wanting to kill Takeru ...- ironically observed the blond
-I can easily overlook his presence … - swiftly replied the brunette
-I doubt- tried to retort the blonde, but was quickly interrupted by the lady
-I don't care if you don't like love me ...- plainly stated the female twin - … I have always loved you, and you know that ... - firmly continued the brunette - … it is certainly deplorable that our lives had taken such a different path, I do grieve at that sometimes - she sadly smirked - but it is too late for that now, and you will soon realize, that I am probably the best answer to your future success, so think about it - she then concluded, not waiting for a reply, and quickly leaving the cottage.
Akira simply sighed, and getting off his chair, he opened the window behind him, and leaned out of it looking downwards.
-How many times have I told you not to eavesdrop? - he then sternly scolded glaring at Takeru, who was crouched under the window, with Tora and Saga.
-The walls of your cottage are so thin Akira … - calmly stated the younger blond looking up at the displeased blond - … you may want to do something about it - continued the blonde, knocking on the sides of the habitation, while standing up, and walking over to the entrance, he heedlessly allowed himself in, newly dropping on the green couch - Oh and don't you dare marry her!- sternly retorted the younger.
-I am afraid you are not in the position to order me around Takeru … - plainly stated the blond, leaning on his desk, gazing at the younger blonde lying on his couch - ... but you don't have to worry about Takami or any other person as a matter of fact - he continued, folding his arms on his chest - … thanks to the six of you I don't have a life anyway, so I don't even think about leaving at all- he concluded, walking back to his sit.
-And that is the way it should be - boastfully declared the younger - … not like Kazuhiro - he then whispered
-What about Kazuhiro? - swiftly inquired the elder
-Nothing … - newly whispered the younger.
-Takeru spit it out - strongly demanded the blonde, frustratedly dropping his papers for the umpteenth time
-Well … - lazily began the younger
-Well?- hurriedly spat the elder -... I don't have the whole time in the world -
-… it appears like he wants to take sides with Mr. Uke- he calmly and firmly explained, which statement provoked a skeptical smirk in the elder
-Kazuhiro doesn't take sides, and if he did, he would not go against his bothers - plainly stated the elder - you must have misunderstood something - he then concluded
-No I did not misunderstand, and you shall soon see it for yourself anyways- quickly replied the younger - even though I believe he won't last too much, acting all strong ... that is just not him - added the younger - and even if he did, I'll make him come back ...-
-You cannot force people Takeru, I have told you this countless times - emphasized the elder - and since we are at it, we need to talk about you and Yasuno ... - quickly observed the blonde.
-There is no we in the sentence me and Yasuno - calmly retorted the younger.
-You do understand that he is going to get married to Lady Ayaka - heedlessly proceeded the elder, getting off his chair, and walking towards the younger - that is the reason why she is here in the first place … right?- he continued stopping right in front of the lying blonde, who kept his absent gaze
-Oh really? ... - sarcastically retorted the younger
-It appears like so ... - plainly replied the elder, ignoring the younger's sarcastic tone, slowly stooping down to face the now irritated blonde - … Keru- he then kindly whispered, and paused thinking through the right words to continue his sentence- … I don't want to tell you this, I do not think it right either, but what Takami was saying is in fact correct- he then commenced - … no matter how much you love Yasuno ... there is ... no future for the two of you - carefully tried to explain the blonde, at which the younger swiftly sat up straight, glaring down at the elder
-There will be … - angrily hissed the younger - … he is not getting married, I am not going to allow it, and I'll simply construct the darn future - he swiftly spat
-Takeru, this is not a game- tried to interject the elder, but was abruptly interrupted
-Do not tell me that this is not a damn game!- cried out the younger - I darn well know that this is not a stpid game, I don't need every single one of you to tell me, I am not stupid - he continued - I am aware about the rules of society, and I know the bible by heart, yes, I will be condemned, and yes, I will go to hell ... where I probably came from anyways - quietly observed the younger, gaining a disapproving gaze from the older - I don't care, I am ready to face it!- he then concluded.
-Well then - … carefully attempted the elder -... have you ever thought, that Yasuno may not want to face all of that? - delicately inquired the elder, from his crouched position
-He loves me … - plainly stated the blond
-Are you aware of just how naïve that sounded coming from you - swiftly questioned the elder - and … has he even ever told you that? - he hesitantly added, perfectly knowing the answer to the question, having recently extensively talked about the same matter with the eldest blond.
-… no … - sighed the younger in a whisper
-So how do you know he loves you as well? … - kindly attempted the elder, who yet know the feeling of the elder to be hundred percent genuine.
-Just because you can't see something, doesn't necessarily means it is not there - firmly declared the blonde, swiftly raising up from the couch, making the elder rise as well - and you should be helping me not trying to take away all that I have! - angrily retorted the younger
-I am trying to help you Keru, by trying to avoid you suffering later … - reinforced the elder, trying to stop the younger from leaving the cottage - … it is going to be worse later, if you don't stop it now- swiftly added the elder, grabbing the younger by his arms
-Well then let him tell me this! - angrily yelled the younger - then I might consider!- he concluded forcefully freeing himself from the elder's grip, and quickly storming out of the house.
-Takeru!- yelled back the blonde, swiftly following the younger out of his cottage, as he rapidly thought things through, in his overcrowded mind. This wasn't the way things were supposed to go, he was supposed to be the peacemaker, the one that knew everything about everyone, the one that could fix everything. However, things where slowly crumbling down. His ever attentive gaze, and his cautious touch weren't enough anymore, and for the first time in his life, he had no idea what to do. The only thing that was left for him was that one feeling, the only feeling he knew, he would have definitely found comfort in, that one feeling that would have helped him keep his sanity, and sadly enough, that rather disagreeable feeling would always help him keep himself together.
Anger always kept him together, and at the moment he had lots of it, and he also knew that if any outsider were to appear out of nowhere, and accidentally cross his path, he or she would have greatly suffered his wrath; their darned apprentice had better stayed put inside nowhere.
