I Wish I Hadn't Known - Lost: Through the Looking Glass

May 25, 2007 21:05

I'm still kicking myself that I had read the spoiler about the Lost finale, because I would have loved to experience that WTF? moment at the end. It would have ranked up there with those moments in The Sixth Sense or The Crying Game. Lucky you if you weren't spoiled.

They did a pretty good fakeout job, making it seem like it was a flashback to the ( Read more... )

Heh. Leave it to the Fuse geeks to figure out the model number within 1.5 seconds of it airing. Anyway, it looks like the many Razrs we've had -- I say many because they always break.
I really feel I missed out on feeling the big surprise like I did w/ the Sixth Sense. Next year I won't do spoilers (a likely story).

First of all... LMAO! That ICON! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I wanna be the Alex to your Danielle and we can both go blow shit up WITH JACK. Except that's just a tad kinky now that we've established Jack Daniels as a ship and you can't expect me to call him Daddy. *resists urge to comment any further* Oh, who cares? :D

I'm not sorry I read the spoiler because I was expecting it when all the Alias references started flying. They even jumped ahead two years, just like on Alias. Except Jack didn't wake up with an amnesia.

He's becoming like Locke in the flashforward *shudder*He's also like Locke in Walkabout, the flashback where he's a sad, lonely loser who drinks alone and talks to whores on the phone. Erm... yeah. Everything fits. (Couldn't help myself... :p) But what happens to Locke afterwards? The island gives him his mojo back ( ... )

I wanna be the Alex to your Danielle and we can both go blow shit up WITH JACK. Hee. I'm sure we could figure something out. Danielle will have to learn to share. At least I get to elbow Ben in the face. Or ,we'll just bring along Claire and Aaron, move to Australia, and figure it out there.

You know, thank god they didn't play the amnesia card in the flash-forward or on the island like we were fearing when Jack returned from his vacation with the Others. That made me quit watching Alias for good.

(Couldn't help myself... :p) You didn't...well yes you did. Well, actually, Darlton set up the parallel and you only found it. Only even hooked on Oxycontin, Jack wasn't as self-pitying as Locke. But I guess "Helen" didn't want to make the trip with Locke either. Oy ( ... )

Erm, I have to disagree about the Kate going behind Jack's back here a bit. I guess you mean shooting the followers in LTDA? She didn't went behind Jack's back there. At that time she simply thought that they were following Michael back to the Others. Nothing more. She didn't knew that Jack had a plan and what was going with Michael etc. All that came after the shooting.

And in TTLG - for one thing you don't know if she would've gone to Jack before leaving or not (and I'm not sure that Jack told anyone that they have to keep moving under any circumstances). imo she wanted "backup" (Sawyer to go with her) because she knew Jack wouldn't let her go alone. There was no indication that she just would've sneak out of the trek without telling Jack.

I wasn´t spoiled so the reveal was just amazing! For a second there when we first saw Kate I thought they had met before the crash or that it was her twin or something stupid like that. I couldn´t believe they were doing a flash forward!

When Jack told that other doctor to call his father I think I actually saw a expression on hs face that said ´this guy´s really lost it´. I think Jack was pretty drunk too.

I thought that Jack was kind of turning into Locke to. If I´m not mistaken Locke says something like not supposed to leave the island when he´s threatening to shoot Jack.

I don´t want this future for Jack. It made me extremely sad to know this is gonna happen to him and I´m actually mad at Kate for turning her back on him when he needs her the most, after everything he´s done for her and everybody else.

Really, you're so lucky you were surprised! I'm sure Kate was the last person anyone expected to get out of the car.
That part about Jack telling the chief to call his father seems to be the big sticking point of the flash-forward concept so far -- was Jack just incoherent or was there an alternate universe? I could easily believe he was just messed up and confused as to his own timeline. Dr. Hammill did have a look kinda like "call for a psych consult".
I thought that Jack was kind of turning into Locke to. If I´m not mistaken Locke says something like not supposed to leave the island when he´s threatening to shoot Jack. Yeah, they had both Locke and Jack say the same thing, more or less, toward the end of the episode. It's like the comment TPTB made on the Man of Science commentary, that "Man of Faith" also meant Jack and he just had to come around to it. Now Jack believes in the island power too, in some way ( ... )

She definitly was.
I have to say I´m extremely happy I wasn´t spoiled. This season was hard to enjoy on it self, so I wasn´t gonna make it worst by being spoiled. I recommend you to try it,I know it´s not easy but I tell you, it´s worth it. You still may not like what happens on the show but at least you won´t have to stress about it even before it happens.

I wonder how they´ll do it too.
If they take of from the scene where Jack and Kate met outside the airport and the Flash backs are of them leaving the island and what happened after that. Won´t the characters be spread all over the world after rescue? Did all of them make it back?
