Did I mention I love Mrs. Coach?

Working throught the FNL DVD's to catch up on odd episodes I missed.  I love Tammi Taylor, I love her spunk, and love her smooth way of just not taking any crap from people, especially Coach.

Take this scene under the tablecloth from Who's Your Daddy, during the "impromptu" party for 100 at their house:

Their scenes together always make me smile, because they are so real. I'm resisting spoilers for this one and it's a lot easier than with Lost.

She is a great role model. She makes me want to be the less crabby version of me. She takes charge, but she's subtle about it.

She is so great. Like Claud said, I want to BE her. She's got the humor down pat, but is also so strong and supportive. Yep, pretty much my ideal female. And thanks for the memories. I've been so busy catching up on Grey's Anatomy (and next The Office) that I haven't gotten a chance to catch up on last season, but it won't be the end of the world if I don't. I just can't wait for October 5th. :D ( ... )

Tiff, you got me enthused about FNL from being only a sometimes watcher and I'm really enjoying the DVD's.
Lila's baby voice kind of gets annoying, but her outrage at Jason when he was flirting with Tattoo Girl late in the season is just over the top since she slept with his best friend, several times and all. And the scarlett letter treatment she got was quite exaggerated--I hope. But that scene under the bleachers (with her dad) was very good. Kate needs to have a scene like that with Rose.
I'm really liking seeing Matt's home story and what a great kid he is, b/c where I picked up midseason he and Julie were already a couple and they didn't focus on him so much.
And I like Crash's sister. I always pick up on the minor characters. :)

Awww, that is the greatest compliment you could give me. I'm so happy my relentless (and sometimes embarrassing) plugging was able to lend itself to more enthusiasm for this magnificent show. By mid-season, I would watch and almost want to CRY during every episode because it was so good. And I'm serious. A scene or a plot point or the acting would be so great I just couldn't believe it. And this show also makes me LAUGH so hard sometimes because Matt can be so preciously awkward or Mr. and Mrs. Coach can be so adorable. It's amazing ( ... )

Landry is so much Matt's awkward Cyrano. Now why they named a guy like that after the biggest Texas coach ever, I have no idea!
