Well I suppose it's only fitting now that I buy Bailey a Pirate Costume for Halloween. She is having part of a toe amputated today so a peg leg would be just right. Talked to my Dad a little bit ago...still no power and no ice in all of Kingwood. They have a nice clean fridge just waiting for foodz.

So I'm sure you guys all know I'm from Houston and most of my family is still there. With the exception of one of my cousins and his family everyone is in Kingwood. My sister and aunt only have minor damage to their homes and fences. Most phones are out and there is no power. So the Alamo thing is sold out... : (. But everyone seems down to do something anyway. Morgan has offered up her place for movies and what not, since Rush will be out of town, and Rachel has offered hers as well for washers or Smarty Pants. I'm down for whatever and will be happy to bring some food to the party.

So last weekend Maris and I had the briefest of mentions of a Girls Night and apparently Alamo Drafthouse is planning on starting a once a month Girls Night. The first of which will feature Amelie, FREE creme brulee, and a special French martini available only at this show. Sounds like fun to me.
