Eeee!! Clearman's Northwoods Inn--do they still make those fantastic salads?? The ones that came with every meal? That was my favorite place in the whole LA area!

And cool, I've never seen pomegranates on the tree before. Awesome!

Yes Clearman's still has those salads.
We are all anxiously awaiting the opening of Clearman's Galley or what we all called it "The Boat". I will be taking pictures of it as soon as it opens. ; )

The pomegranate tree is in our backyard. : )
And the tree is at least 50 years old, possibly more.

In our area, apples grow! There are orchards all over. Pomegranates cost over $2 each, and I love them. But we only get them as a special treat. =>}

LOL they cost approximately $2 in our stores also.
This is what I love about backyards in California we get to eat all these fresh off the plant-tree foods. We have the pomegranate, fig, orange, avacado, tomatos,chilipeppers, walnuts, olives-My grandfather used to pickle the olives in big jars, man I wish he had taught me before he passed. There are apple orchards about an hour away from us. : ) Yummy.
