Yep I was home for the earthquake which was a 6.9 but it is now classified as a 7.2

Yep, it rolled on through here, too, and the length of it gave me pause. Like you, I knew it had to be a big one that wasn't all that close. Man, I look at those earthquake maps and remind myself that lots of little earthquakes releases tension in the faults. Sure is a whole lot of tension relieving going on today, and one article predicts that will continue through the night as the slippage works its way to LA. I've got lots of water and a fair amount of food, but most of it would need some degree of cooking. If the gasline remains intact, I can barbecue a lot

LOL I know I've been checking the sites all day watching where the quakes are hitting.

LOL Hey the valley survived the 1992 Landers 7.3 which was really swaying I could barely walk down the hall and we watched 3 feet of water go splashing out of the pool.
I think that type of earthquake here in LA we wouldn't do so good. I'd much rather be out there with you. : )

LOL the only thing I hate about earthquakes is sometimes I can't sleep right away.
So I guess that means I get to read John/Rodney fic. ; )
