Sticky Wicket

Does anyone actually know what a sticky wicket it? I think it's something naughty...I just heard it on West Wing, so you know...Um...not a lot to report...I hope that Mo's having fun in Iowa. Oh, sorry Mo. Yeah, I did, but the thing is I can't call you during the daytime because I'm way over minutes on my cell-phone. so I can call you at night, on the weekends, or if you had a Sprint phone, which i don't think you do.

Do you know what a sticky wicket is?

I thought a sticky wicket was another term for a problem. Like...

"That puts us in a bit of a sticky wicket."

But maybe I'm mistaken.

Yeah, it is. I looked it up at www.usingenglish.com because I'm a dork like that.

It said, and I quote:
