A little more from the work front...

I got a reluctant go-ahead for a True Blood release event at the store. The reluctant part was due to the fact that it's an HBO boxed set, which don't sell that well except around Christmas. So even if I create a buzz, I'm probably going to fail.

Which gives me a poor outlook on another idea I've had. I considered reopening this bakery that's in town, using no money of my own to get it started. Basically my idea came down to making a deal with the building's owner, some sort of investor who's been making improvements around the village. The deal would be for him to pay me just for working there, and he'd take the profits to make up for the startup fees, materials and such.

The last owner of the bakery, Le Petit Gateau, was a professional baker, in the sense that she went through all these college baking classes. I don't have that, but I'd be daring enough to peruse books and magazines for creative new ideas and techniques.

Yeah, I don't have a lot of experience and education, which is why job hunting sucks. I really need a new job, though, so I can get out of this one.
