Lovely, just lovely.
Great imagery and language, and I loved the way it all comes back to finding the miraculous at home. :)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, especially the end. I think it's always what you bring back from your travels that truly lasts, and I wanted to show that!

This is achingly beautiful. I love it to pieces.

As the day slips into the cool of twilight, Luna thinks perhaps the world is calling to her: it's an invitation to a ball with a million dances, and she has an empty card to fill.

I am always touched by the allusion to dance cards.

Sometimes the discovery is in realising there are things not meant to be explored.

It's wonderful how you really capture her Ravenclaw spirit.

You made me fall in love with Luna all over again.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought this fit Luna. And I'm doubly glad that it made you love her, because there's not enough Luna love to go around!

What is there not to love about this? It's poetic, it's full of spirit, it's beautiful and calm and exceptionally observing (? if that's the word). Your Luna is spot-on and your descriptions mache me ache from how beautiful they are.

Simply fantastic.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought I captured Luna. And extremely proud that you thought I got the last line right - ending a story properly is so important to me! :)

Wow. Gorgeous. So wonderfully, perfectly Luna. It makes me want to take off right now, just to see what's out there. :)

Some favorite bits:

Magic could of course create something like this, but that would take away the miracle of the wall. This way is better.

even though they are known to inhabit Greenland, it's not like anyone has proven they don't live in Antarctica

their voices are soft at first, but grow louder the more she becomes accustomed to listening.

I just adore every bit of this. ♥

So I've given you itchy feet, have I? :D
