Wow! This was so wonderful and I can't thank you--my mystery writer--enough! I loved the mood of the fic. I could feel the sea breeze, I could smell the salt air, I could hear the sounds of the arcade on the pier.

I especially love how Luna is so unsure of herself around her friends. I feel like this is the Luna I know and love. She still isn't used to the word or the meaning of friendship. She hangs on to the notion that she's still only close with Neville and Dean because it's what she's familiar with and you can sense how apprehensive she is about change and the future. She's so relatable.

This is charming. I love the idea of this group, at Luna's suggestion, going on a cheap and simple holiday - plus the miing of wizardry and Muggle lives. There's a feeling that they deserve the rest and that it's an enjoyment they haven't had over the past few years, and as friends (I think we've all been in that Luna-Lavender place). There were some incredibly touching lines about how Luna perceived the world, her place in it and her relationship with others and the Luna/Dean was lovely.
