When I write by hand sometimes my thoughts go faster than I can write and the words all run together especially "with the" - I combine the "th"s and get "withe" - and other phrases that have an overlap of letters. Even if I get all the letters down sometimes I connect all of the words up, a continuation of my already sloppy half-cursive writing.

Do your parents know though? I flat-out told my mother, bringing it up myself. She told my dad for me.

I do the exact same thing with my 'with the's. It can be frustrating. And I don't believe not mentioning one's sexuality is the same as being closeted. I think closeted implies denying your sexuality, and if you haven't said anything or given clues either way, then it's not denying it.
