We (being my father and myself) have returned from Sweden just in time to start preparing for school to begin again. And I finally feel that I won't lose this parchment, so I've been trying to read everything all at once and I'm afraid I'm slightly confused. It seems that everyone's either having a very eventful holiday and writing about it all

Hullo! It was very lovely, and we may get to go again next summer. How has your summer been? (You did make prefect, didn't you? Congratulations; I did as well.)

We found prints where one may have been walking, and Father swears he got a picture of one (ask Ronald to show you the photograph I sent him). We'll have better luck next time.

My summer's been pretty interesting, to say the least. It started off on a fairly boring note, and it seems to be ending that way as well. But there was about a week in the middle where things were a bit crazy. (Yes, I made prefect too. Congratulations!)

I'll have to ask Ron to show me the picture. I'm sure you'll have better luck next time!
