I'm currently at work, and believe it or not, I kind of like one of my fellow crew. The thing is he's already married - and I have no intention of breaking up families (not that he would let his family go to waste like that)... still, I have to get myself conditioned that I really couldn't LIKE any guy romantically, especially in this kind of work ( Read more... )

Such a cynical way of thinking, but I guess it's a safe way to exist. It's certainly true that pursuing feelings for a married man is a catch-22, though. As you said, he'd likely value his family too much to give it any thought, and if he did, it wouldn't bode well for a long term relationship with you.

Eh, I approve of your mantra. romance is overrated. XD

Yeah, cynical but practical. And I would really hate myself if he would reciprocate my, err, feeling.
My problem now would be my other friends, who kept on pushing me to the said married guy. It's really... embarrassing, since we eat in the same room, and we're just a table away, I'd really want to think that he couldn't hear anything they're saying... what's worse is that this married guy and I share the same time of duty. It kinda sucks.
