It has been a long time since I've written, dear Reader, but I don't think I'm too out of practice. I can't begin to describe the changes that have taken place over the past few years. I haven't checked to see the last entry's date, but I'm sure it's been a while. I'm living in eastern NC and that hasn't changed. I still look basically the same. ( Read more... )

Hey, you! I have done the same thing in respect to my education. I've studied everything I could possibly study and have managed for the most part to avoid the things that don't interest me. I'm finally graduating in May though it is admittedly my parents' gradation and I will let them do it however they like. I've found someone (re-found, we dated 5 years ago and it didn't work out because we were different people) that I have been seeing for about 6 months. We are going to stay here in the mountains for maybe another year because he wants to move far away and I want to be sure it's right before I go with him. I don't know what I want to do with my life.

I've wondered how you were doing.

Good luck! I started living with my current boyfriend after we'd been together for about 9 months. I felt bad about it at the time but it's been great! I hope it works out well for you. I personally would miss the mountains.

It has been a year and we still don't want to live together. I won't miss the mountains. I miss the river and the beach. I miss my friends.
