so i just got hired by the democratic national committee to take part in the grassroots campaign in san francisco. i was going to get to help get bush out of office and, in the process, make over $1,200 in 2 months. i was psyched as fucking hell. but then i found out that it's 9 hours a day 3 days a week. and while i thougt it sounded manageable,

you could totally handle 9 hours a day if it's only 3 hours a week... maybe you should reconsider and do what you think is right, that sounds like a rad job..

well, i'm really torn. the hours HAVE to be from 1-10 at night... and it has to be on set days. i could, in theory, do tuesday, thursday, friday, but that would mean i'd be busy all day on those days, and i'd basically only have 2 days where i wasn't going almost all day. i mean, mondays and wednesdays i'm done with school at 3, but there's also homework... and my weekends would be very limited. it's not like i'm only not doing this because mom said so. it's just that she's right. i really would be way too busy, and in retrospect, i know that california is going kerry anyway. it's a huge bummer, but i'm going to ask if there are any volunteer jobs i can do... because really, i couldn't handle that huge of a committment.

you should try to catch some AMC soon. IT'S SOOOO FUCKING INTENSE!
