The first.. I dunno 4 or 5 set my teeth on edge. The last couple I could hear but it was a stretch. The very last one... not a damn thing.

Oh, and my right ear can hear the 18.8kHz tone better than the 17.7 kHz tone, but the opposite is true for my left ear.

My right ear also seems to have a better frequency response because it gets all the way to 21.1kHz without much of a problem. In the left, I top out at 18.8kHz.

I went back and turned the volume up, still nothing beyond the 14.1.

Chalk it up to genetics.
