January's S.N.A.P.E. Art Contest
Calling All Snape Fans!
(artistic and non-artistic alike)
The Society for Nonsensical ArtPad Enthusiasts proudly presents:
The January S.N.A.P.E. Art Contest
This month’s theme:
Snape’s World Tour
Snape’s World Tour
As you can imagine, Snape’s on the move these days. Draw a picture of Snape with (or as) a famous landmark that he might encounter while running from the Aurors. For example, you might show Snape on camelback in front of the Great Pyramids at Giza or flying a broom over the Golden Gate Bridge. You could take him for a walk down the Great Wall of China or have him grab a quick lunch with the witch (or wizard) of your choice in front of the Eiffel tower.
The Rules:
- It must be funny!
- Snape must be in the picture, in recognizable form, alone or with someone.
- The landmark should be man-made and also recognizable (give us a link to view the original if needed and available).
- Dialogue is welcome but not required.
- The paintings must be made with ArtPad
- Multiple entries gladly accepted, and bring your friends: Everyone is welcome to submit!
The deadline for submission is Thursday, February 2. The winner will be announced on the 3rd.
PRIZES: Those of you who have had the misfortune of viewing my two S.N.A.P.E. entries will be relieved to hear that I am NOT offering original art to the winners. Instead, I will award the winner and two runner-ups a fan fiction written by yours truly with characters and situation* of their choice. (Winners are, of course, free to forgo the “prize”-lol!)
And if that doesn’t get you painting, maybe this will: the Grand Prize winner will also have the honor of hosting next month’s contest and choosing the theme.
