Before I comment on the fics, I just want to say that I am so, so sorry I forgot to call you the other day. I went out, stuff came up, and I completely had a brain lapse. I'll try again this weekend. :-)

Regarding the fics, I'll have to read them. They sound really good. Maybe once I finish them, we should really think about printing them out and sending them to JKR, lol.

And do read those fics as soon as you get the chance. I don't recommend that many stories, but these really stood out.

I absolutely loved HP and the Enemy Within. It's about the first Snape fanfic I read, back in the old days when I just found HP fandom and was hanging out in the Leaky Cauldron and a more private HP message board under a different handle. I didn't know that Theowyn has finished the story. Squee! Must read. (I went over to the dark side, er - SSHG, and became sylvanawood).

I'm glad to hear you liked it! I can't even tell you what an awesome experience reading them both was for me.... There's such a sense of satisfaction--like this is the way the story really went and the published books were just diversions, but now somehow I've been allowed to see the real thing!

*shrugs* I know that sounds mental!

(Not that I plan to abandon SS/HG or anything, esp. since Ron and Hermione still don't make sense in JKR's canon.)
