I woke up in the middle of the night or something...I heard buzzing and I felt a prick on my face.(No, do NOT read that in a perverted manner!) I slapped myself in the face, hoping I got whatever it was. Of course we all know it was a skeeter. Didn't it bite me in the fucking eyelid? ON BOTH SIDES< in almost the exact same fucking spot??? look for a natural store and buy some neem lotion, its not the best smell in the world but it fades and it'll def clear it all up! when i take my boys(dogs) for walks i wear it because i live in the sticks, and to make it worse we have a stream on the property so we are sorta the breed grounds for all of em and theyu'll eat u alive, we even have this hornet flys, and they hurt!
those candels never work

Wish I could give you better advice for the mosquitos. Here, we get them constantly. Little buggers are annoying.

Vinager will occassionally work at taking away the itching. Try anything that works against alergenics. That also may help.

I can tell you the candles and sprays only annoy them. They don't avoid something that's annoying for the promise of food. Those little electric zappers don't work too well on mosquitos, either. We've given up the war here. They'll come, it's part of Florida.

You might want to check for pools of stagnating water near the house, and any screens and doors that have open spaces...

.. Nobody should have quite that many bug bites just overnight, but I know they love me and if I see a big one in the house after a walk, I do not rest til I get it with a broom.

Yea, hope the Fibro thing has some good stuff when you go.. you've had a fair amount of stress this spring, too.

If you know anyone that sells Avon try to get some of there Skin So Soft line, I know allot of people use that as a repellant. Other than that you guys should maybe try something like this http://www.offprotects.com/mosquito-repeller/
I have used the one for the yellow jackets and it worked really well. You could put one of those in your bedroom at night :D

You'd probably benefit from some netting. You can get a nice net to drape over your bed for anywhere from about $24 on up. If you have a canopy bed the netting will look lovely and mysterious and keep the little bastards off you at the same time!
