1:00 a.m. - April 14 -- By this time tomorrow, the Benefit will be over.

Fat lot of good that does me right now.

I should be sleeping.  It's going to be a long weekend.  But all I keep doing is picturing the things that can go wrong.  Bad enough I have to perform in the bloody thing, but I'm the blasted fool who PLANNED the whole thing.  So when it ( Read more... )

A feint is just an attack that is not intended to divert attention so that another attack can land on a different line. The thing to look at is the example that you are shown. in the example is there an actual pump of the arm or is it just drawn back? It helps to see if the languege matches the action

There are a lot of ways to change lines disengage, coupe, Cavatone etc. The arm pump is not the only way nor is it the best way.

I'm not quite able to visualize the difference between an actual pump of the arm versus the arm just being drawn back.

To my eyes, when he was explaining it, what I was shown was:
1. An attack (arm extended) aimed at chest (for example).
2. A pull back (arm pulled back, elbow bent, hand almost even with hip).
3. A re-attack (arm re-extended) aimed elsewhere on body (head or groin for example).

When he actually did the maneuver, it went very fast, and I'm not certain what I saw.

Because I'm very conscious of the fact that I do that reverse punch and how dangerous it is, I will openly admit that I am extremely paranoid about anything that even remotely resembles it.
