Sometimes these words
written in dimly lit rooms
are as real as your touch
or at least as I imagine your touch -
because you’ve turned away
before I could learn if the truth
you promised in prose
could survive the fluorescent
light of reality. -
Melee Madness - in retrospect
I headed out to Melee Madness with an overwhelming sense of impending doom. Nothing specific that I could put my finger on, just a bad feeling that wouldn't go away.
In retrospect, I suppose it wasn't nearly as bad as I was anticipating, but I wouldn't call it my favorite event either.
On the positive side:
