My daughter graduates tomorrow at 4pm. I want to be happy and supportive, but right now I am just plain tired and have to deep-clean. Because my mom was going to a hotel, I wasn't worried about cleaning, because my husband was going to pick her up in the morning, bring her to our place until graduation, then going to dinner and drop her off at the

On the plus side, my aunt came down to graduation and drove my mom home, so she didn't have to spend the night and deal with the MBTA. However, she brought one of my other aunts... the Reborn Christian one who told us we were not welcome at the family Christmas party if our younger daughter wore a dress. Neither of my daughters want anything to do with her, especially on a special day, plus we had to pay for seven people for graduation dinner- because she didn't have American money on her. She didn't discuss LGBT issues, politics, or religion, at least.
