So I sent a thank you e-mail this morning to the hiring manager with whom I interviewed on Friday. This was her response

Such great news and that WAS super fast! Remind me, this is still your same company, right? If so, do they dock vacation days for the trip? Just wondering.

Yes, this is still with Wells Fargo. I was hoping to find something within the company to make the transfer easier. My current boss does not know anything about the interview, and unfortunately I do not get a free vacation day for it. But I'll only need the one full day (Friday, March 14th), and a couple of hours on Thursday. I'll get to spend two nights out there - staying with my dad, and hope to see my sister and brother-in-law for dinner Friday night. I leave early afternoon Saturday, and get back here at an ungodly hour but will just sleep it off Sunday.
