You'll need to take a picture from further away to avoid the blurriness. I guess at least 30 cm away.

If taking pictures from a larger distance doesn't work, you could try
- adjusting the shutter time (thought that doesn't seem the problem since the background is okay);
- adjust for lighting conditions?

So now... rtfm?? lol
No shutter time adjustment, and the camera is supposed to automatically focus in different lighting conditions. I had it on 'auto' so it's supposed to do it all for you in normal light. The outside pics I've taken before have come out wonderfully, but recently... Crap! I dunno, I really need to memorise that manual.
