I want it noted here that I offered, the night before you left, to get you gauze pads and surgical tape, so you could keep the thing covered. And you turned me down.

because, despite how happy it would have made you it would have been exactly like wearing a shirt, except then I would have had the added fun of trying to find a way to peel it off, whih would have hurt like crazy.

Yes, but you wouldn't have dyed the shirt you were wearing a delicate shade of blue-and-blood.
