I heard about it ages ago, but had quite forgotten. Really want to see it - my friend's been raving about the soundtrack.

Aye, quite pleased to see a fantasy film that looks rather different for this year. The graphic novel looks pretty too :)

Huh - it says fall 2006, which is... right now. Looks like it's worth driving a couple hundred miles, possibly - prettiness is generally better on a big screen. Maybe I need to plan a weekend movie trip sometime soon (I could stand to stock up on cat food, too, to be fair). There's been so much shite in the theatres lately, and I'd quit paying attention - thanks for pointing this out.

Aye think it came out there on the 22nd. And yes I agree most cinema films of late has not really appealed. This certainly looks promising...and if you drive that far to view it, I hope it lives up to expectations!

Hope all is well there :)

Darren Aronofsky is pretty awesome, so I expect this will be too.
I liked Pi and the one about drugs. (I'm sleepy so my ability to recall things is failing)

I'm going to see Pan's Labrynth tomorrow. It looks so totally amazing, and it strikes me as the sort of thing that you would like alot also :)
Hope you're ok

Joe

Requiem for a Dream - good film but somewhat...unnerving.

How was Pan's Labyrinth? I am currently in the midst of moving house, but maybe I can see it next week. It definfitely sounds like my kind of movie.

Hope you are doing ok too :) How is life post uni?

It looks really beautiful-definately going to try and see it before christmas shopping panic sets in. Saw a trailer for Pan's Labyrinth yesterday-looks really cool too! Damn. Where's a rich toyboy when you need one?

Aye, those two films really appeal to me. I hope to see them soon. Know anyone with an Orange mobile? 2 for 1 tickets on Wednesdays.
