Indeed, there are 2 sections - one must be older or full of more elaborate graves and tombs as you can go by guided tour only.

It would've been interesting in a month or two with all the wild flowers out...

I want to go too!
Wow, amazing imagery. Love the angel with her arm outstetched and the overgrown feel of it all.

Yes it was very overgrown in places - impossible to get to alot of the graves, probably forgotten a long time ago. Many of the more tangled graves were only numbered without names etc.

That is sad, isn't it? If I lived nearby, I think I'd adopt a grave and take flowers on a regular basis.

In the graveyard - randomly. Needless to say it stood out. As far as I could tell it was a grave though the name was unreadable.

Speak to you soon this week :)

Wow, those are great little insights and I love the angel. I wish I had photoshop installed already today (reinstalling everything today), as there is something I want to point out and ask you about--I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Glad you like...some more time, better lighting and more equipment would allow for some creativity, especially in the other half of the cemetery which we will hopefully visit next time (open by guided tour only).

Sure, drop me an email if you like...I am not too familiar with Photoshop though, I just play with it really...

Is that sisyphus? Pushing his boulder eternally up a hill?
So indicitive of life, makes me terribly sad.
I don't like the idea that the only glory we'll ever find is in very breif respite as things let up once in a blue moon.

I'd assume so. A rather sad chioice for a grave it seems.

How are things?
