Indeed, I have never done a walk like it, so much space - as you can probably tell from the bleakness of the path around the mountain. Still a little sore from sun attack lol, but aloe vera is my friend :)

How are you doing there m'lovely?

Thanks muchly! Indeed, very bleak landscape and a long walk in open sunshine - but lovely clear views. A little hazy and bright for unfiltered photography in places, but I tried to capture light at different times as we were up there 4 hours or so.

How are things with you guys? Well I hope, it has been a while :)

I am afraid I don't...but I am sure I could look that up when I go home :) There wer elots of them - same with the orange ones, which remind me of blubells but...orange. Hmm I should really get a handheld guide to flora and fauna to take with me on my wanderings...

Sounds extremely productive and progressive there - good to hear. How are the fluffy firends?

I am doing the opposite and preparing to go form just-about-human state to manic-student-inbetween by January lol, eek.

Yes the geology around there is quite impressive...but my knowledge of rocks is somewhat limited. Though the layers of age and history can be clearly seen. Wales was indeed a land of fire and tropics at one time and it seems quite visible here, and in the mountains photographed above - there are some rather volcanic looking landscapes in that area. But now lovely and rustic and green...though we did pass through a field of scary satanic-looking cows lol - highland cows, totally harmless but there was a bull in there with huge horns. I was too scared to get a photo of him, and I expect the Farmer was looking somewhere above, chuckling to himself...
