Banboozled by a Bonsai

Anyone here experienced with growing/maintaining bonzai trees? I was given a Bonzai Ligustrum as a present, and despite researching a little online - am somewhat confused by how to care for it. It seems that root cutting/re-potting is a good idea, but I'm scared

oo thanks, I shall ask her later when I'm home from work. They look so fragile and squished in their tiny pot - I dont want to harm it, but at the same time I feel bad for it - seeing it with so little space to grow!

Did you ever receive the card/cd I sent before the winter holidays?

Glad you love - the music was a bit of a random guess really! Hope you're all well anyways. I shall catch up with your journal as I've been mostly absent from online world the past couple of weeks (dipping in occasionally, and bombarding people with a few posts myself in pockets, lol - need to find a less random method - more photos me thinks!).
