Soooo... I think I may have found a place to live! I went to see a place today on a last minute whim, and I received a voice message from the girl saying she'd like to live with me. It's a shared apartment, but it might as well be a single unit --there's no living room, just a shared kitchen and bathroom

And you can get a pet when you have a more long term place -- you can always call me if you need a head to pet...(I know that sounds wrong...but I don't mean it that way)

That sounds very much like my current living situation, and I totally enjoy it. I finally got a full-sized mattress (a futon), and once I moved everything in, realized I could've gotten something bigger without it feeling cramped. My roomate and I only share a bathroom, a kitchen w/attached tiny breakfast nook, and hallway w/closet space. And I'm out in friggin' north Bronx - it's a serious trek to get to Manhattan
