Oh, nothing's wrong! I just realized that something that was super important to me once upon a time isn't any longer, and even better (or worse?), all I feel is a vague knowledge that it used to be important. I was sort of surprised by the lack of emotional attachment more than anything else.

And yes, I'm being deliberately non-specific. A girl's gotta have a few embarrassing secrets, right?

Of course she does. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't something catastrophic-- like, for example, finding out that art is no longer important to you. Minor mind fucks and major ones being distinct.

missed you when i was in ny! seems strange that you're not there anymore... and re: your post -- our dreams/plans change all the time, don't they? looks like i'll be staying in sf a bit longer, and suddenly LA doesn't look so grim. who woulda thunk, but i hope you're chasing an equally fulfilling dream. nothing is as simple as it was when we were kids anymore.
