moving out of pgh...
so i'm finally leaving from pittsburgh (i've been subletting for the past year). however i have a major problem: I have to have everything vacated from the apartment by the end of this month. Now that means selling off the remainder of my furniture (which are pretty substantial pieces) and somehow getting the last of my stuff back to nyc ( Read more... ) -

I came home this evening to find my bird, Piccolo, dead. my little baby. i've just spent the evening crying and sleeping so I'll post more in memorial to him tomorrow perhaps. I just feel really drained and rather bruised at the moment. The day after my godfather's funeral I come home to find my precious baby dead. I hate this. that is all i -
in remembrance
at 11:55 am today my godfather, Brannon Hall-Garcia, passed away of stomach cancer. It was not a shock so in many ways i'm still waiting for it to hit me. I was one of the last people to see him alive and certainly the last person to whom he responded when I saw him last night. so it seems the NY governor has just been implicated in a prostitution ring. He just gave a press-conference where he vaguely apologized to his family and the people of NY for going against his own personal credo. oy--if this turns out to be true he will most likely be impeached and removed from office. so, now what?
