I love this song, and I love that it's "their" song, with what it comes to represent to them as a couple and individually.

Oh, me too!

I didn't even notice it playing underneath their two conversations the first couple times I watched it, but noticing it makes everything feel more profound since my mind was bombarded with everything up to S5 between them and I just went "OH."

By the way, I really hope that S6 features "Greendale Is Where I Belong" during one of their interactions somewhere!

And in fact, it was thinking over this song in combination with seeing well, erm REALISING Annie's hatred for Greendale in S1 (and Jeff's as well) that made me want to explore it in a meta because Jeff and Annie both start off hating Greendale and being forced to be there, but by S5, as Annie says, "You love Greendale."

And when she's saying that to Jeff, she's speaking for herself as well, making that moment 10x more meaningful that it originally was. (!!!)
