Rydia is probably most notable for her green hair and wings. She is as tall as an immature Chocobo, though a good three heads shorter than a fully-grown one. [Because that kind of measurement is universal to all worlds, isn't it? :D]

Rosa is the most brilliant of beauties. Her skin is the softest alabaster, her wings are of the purest white. Her hair is honey-spun gold, and her eyes are the deepest pools of blue you've ever seen. [Guess which one's his wife.]

[Yes, I'm still on slowatus. But I had to. Terra similarly feels a need to be out of town--not to the extent that Cecil is, but the Kefka incident has soured her a bit on being social. After doing all she can for Celes and Edgar for the time being, she leaves them in Locke's care and heads out. There's actually a purpose to this; she doing what she promised earlier by teleporting to various barrier points to inspect them and note any changes. At some point, she teleports...almost right next to Cecil.]

[He's minding his own business when Terra appears beside him, instinctively unsheathing his sword and taking a defensive step back. He eases slightly when he gets a better look at her, but not by much. Not after the murderous way she'd flown after Kefka.]

...Lady Terra.

[Terra instinctively reaches for the hilt of her own sword upon seeing Cecil unsheathe his, but she doesn't do likewise. She eases up on that, but takes a step back, watching him. The tension -and weariness- isn't hard to miss.]

...Cecil. What are you doing here?

One might ask the same of you. [The sword doesn't go away.]

[Kain is currently a wreck of a man who's wandering about more like a zombie in the wilderness. It's a small place so their PATHS CROSS AT SOME POINT.]

[Cecil understands, man. He doesn't bother with a greeting, nor does he muster false cheer as he falls into step at Kain's side.] They've both been gone far too long.

[Just nods, looks down, seemingly indifferent to his presence either way. He's got this wonderful excuse not to talk and it makes withdrawing from the universe easier.]

[Try all you want, Kain. Cecil's going to have a conversation with you whether you want one or not.] Kefka didn't deserve what happened to him that day.

Ah, I've never introduced the two of you? It is a shame. You'll have to meet her once she returns. [A frustrated noise as his sword scratches uselessly against the barrier; he's desperate enough to go back to that old method.]
