A.) Phone; filtered away from drones

...this town truly doesn't give one a moment's rest, does it? I'm lucid as ever, but I've seen and heard a lot of people that sound like they're hallucinating terribly. All I can say is to be careful.

Miss Black-White, that means you, too. I'm serious; don't intentionally go seeking whatever it is that's ( Read more... )

You noticed it, too?

Ah! Of course! I do what I can, when I'm not being watched.

It was hard not to notice it. I'm sure ojou-sama will be fine, but I worry about imouto-sama. You know how she is...

[ Oh boy, does she EVER. ] I'm sure she'll be fine! I made her promise me not to eat anything she finds, or gets offered by strangers, without checking with one of us, first! [ Since she kind of got the heads-up from Nina that last years' Halloween's "incident" involved tainted candy. And she did all this before she was droned! Aren't you proud of her foresight? ]

That's a relief, and I'm glad you took care of that. I just hope she remembers. But I think she'll be just fine so long as one of us is keeping an eye on her.

Mm! I'll do my best, for sure. I think I might have some kids I want to introduce to her soon, too.

Excellent! She needs it. I'm glad she's settled - as much as I miss home, I must admit, in some ways, this place and the interactions she has are good for her.

Flandre gets to live... I guess I can't say a "normal" life, but if she's kept safe, it's worth it for her to have these experiences.

Do you think she still thinks she's dreaming?

That's it exactly. It's as close to "normal" as we can make it, while keeping her safe.

...sometimes, I think so. Sometimes, I see a difference in her eyes that makes me think she knows she isn't.

You do? Mm. I wonder which is better for her... knowing, or not knowing.

I don't know. I think sometimes, the dream is better...but sometimes, I really want her to be here in the moment.

Well... maybe it's like you said and, deep down, she already knows. Everything is so different, and getting it all at once would be a shock to just about anyone. [ Especially someone as sheltered as Flandre. ]

It is a shock to most everyone. I think it's better that she processes it in her own way. Even if the rest of us don't understand it.

You're right, of course.

...it looks like she's starting to get back more and more of her old self, though. [ Which, honestly? Is worrisome. ]

I worry about it, too. On the one hand, I'm glad to see her so happy, but on the other...

Did you hear anything new about that one vampire? The one you were worried about a while ago. [ The one with the really long name that Meiling has already forgotten. ]

Nothing, which is a relief. I probably worry too much, but better to worry too much than too little.

Ah, and I do think ojou-sama and Miss Rachel Alucard, who lives a couple of houses down from mine, would be good friends, though. Assuming they don't have a clash of ego...
