What a friend use to do was have 3x5 cards and a box at the front door and when someone would borrow a movie or book or something, she'd log it basically you were checking it out. She's passed on but her daughter still does this. I kind of sort of do this.

Good luck getting your movies back....but do you really wan Forest Gump back? I can watch that in 10 or 15 minute increments.
