The weather is fine up here in Colorado. This past Saturday it was foggy all over and lighly sprinkling...ah perfection. This place is treating us well. My new favorite restaurant is Tokyo Joe's which has pretty yummy sushi(I always get an order of Joe's roll). We finally got our own apartment and it's just swell.

Having kids is so far from my mind that when people ask me about having any it's as if they are asking me when am I going to go to outer space! For some reason that desire has yet to come to me. Sometimes I really do feel like I'm going to adopt someday but even that remains at the very bottom of the list of so many things that I need to achieve.

Sunday at work i calmed down a kid by reading aloud my 'fruits basket' manga #3. i was pretty darn proud of Jesus for giving me the idea.

-for the first time yesterday i had a glimpse of what it must feel like to have a kid: not a moment's rest it would seem.

This Birthday was definitely different. It was weird, strange and almost foreign to me. It felt non-existent and just like any other day of the week. I don't know if this feeling comes with age or because it's a weird time in my life.

me: oh man, why aren't you wearing them, they're spiderman shoes?!
