I signed up for yuletide! Now we play the waiting game. (Ah, let's just play Hungry, Hungry Hippos)
YOU KNOW WHAT BUGS ME EXTREMELY? If Chloe & Lois are cousins, how in the hell are they related? Which parents were related? SERIOUSLY.
No offense to those who like it, but with Lois & Clark together, what in the hell is there left to do once he becomes Superman? At this rate, they will have 2.5 kids before Clark ever puts on the suit. I feel like they've gone too far- what is there for him to grow into? I guess that I used to feel that SV could lead into the mainstream comics, but more and more, it has become its own universe, an elseworlds. And I just miss that possibility. And you know, it's just NOT the show that I fell in love with. I feel that it should have dropped the Smallville name and switched to Metropolis YEARS ago. I guess I had a mental head cannon, and the show has blown it to smithreens and pissed on the ashes.
I consistently find the characters besides Lois & Clark more interesting. I actually dig that Tess is a Luthor (and OLDER than Lex, who would have thunk?) I like the family ties. (Poor Julian, the only Luthor without a name that begins with L.) And I feel that Cat is awesome. I miss Chloe lots, too.
The whole going to the fortress and talking to Jor-El? Chloe did it first. Way to recycle plots, writers!
