Just a little update
I'm about 18 weeks along and doing well. The only issue I'm having is that I'm not gaining weight the way I should be. Greg has been really busy with work and will miss the 20 week ultrasound. I'm trying to postpone it somehow so he can be there because he has always been excited about ultrasounds and he did not get to go to the ten week for this ( Read more... ) -

The good news keeps coming!
My sister-in-law is 9 weeks pregnant! I always knew we would have our first kids around the same time and now it is really happening. She's had two ultrasounds and so far everything is going well for her. I'm so excited, I just wish we lived closer together.
Also, I finally found a new gym buddy! -

house cleaning is no fun
Today is a massive cleaning day. Since our household goods arrived on the same day as a guest and I started work crazy hours right after the guest left the apartment has been in total disarray. Another short one
Catherine M. arrived on June 5. Bright and early the next morning our household goods FINALLY arrived, ten days ahead of schedule. The apartment is a total disaster because neither Greg nor I have had the chance to attack the mess. Plus we need bookshelves. Badly. However, I am loving having a fully equipped kitchen. Quick Update
I was out of town for most of May, first in Houston to supervise the movers and then in Colorado for my brother's graduation. While I was in Colorado the little lump on my dog's head turned into a gigantic ruptured abscess full of staph that required surgery. Back in Houston
It's wierd being back. I was extremely disoriented this morning when I woke up not in our apartment.
Yestrday afternoon I went back to Westview and I saw my babies. They've gotten so big and they've made so much progress since I last saw them in December! My morning class had already gone for the day though, so I am going to try to peek in at them ( Read more... ) -
Frustrations
Yesterday I made 19 phone calls trying to work out how to move Brutus from Houston to Anchorage. My last call was to an animal travel specialist who politely told me that I'm screwed.
