My internal calendar is very vague and fuzzy. But tonight is the Emilie Simon show; not last night. And today is pay day. And I have tomorrow off from work. Gah, so confusing. So yeah, today I picked up a new bag of cat food because he had finished the previous one. It seems that one small bag lasts him about a month

I got a netbook, I'm out at Coffee Garden typing on it now. I got the HP Mini, wiht a 10" screen, 1.6 GHz, 60 GB HD, kind of small but it has an SD slot and 2 USB ports. XP is installed, I got it in February when they were having ridiculous sales so I think it costs more to buy it now than it did then but obviously they will get cheaper. The keyboard is big enough to touch-type on but the thing weighs like two pounds and fits anywhere except my pants pockets. It's less eye-twisting than my little Zaurus mini, plus I have it loaded with Office and THE GIMP and iTunes so I can do useful stuff with it, like write articles and plan my various world-dominating schemes while sitting around at some cafe

Yeah, I plan to get a slim external CD/DVD drive for it. But I definitely want a bigger internal HD because I know I will end up wanting to load it up with tons of music and using it often as an oversized MP3 player... And if I can get some kind of bare-bones DJ audio player application, I could probably use it for DJing instead of spending hours compiling mixes for CDRs to spin.
