To all the cat experts

Is there any kind of feline condition or disease that they can come down with that makes them unable to jump or climb down from someplace? Like, they would still be able to climb up onto a fence ledge or small tree, but not be able to get back down? Even from a height of only a few feet?

sounds like a depth perception problem to me. anything happen to the eyes?

The eyes looked clear and bright. A little bit disoriented looking though (like kinda spacy, but who knows if this cat always looks like that?)

I should have added that the cat in question is not mine, but a neighborhood cat that's always around.

ear infection, maybe? Makes them a little off-balance

i do think it probably has severe ear mites
