Jaejoong's pov
Laying down in bed, I turned to Yunho, who is standing by
the couch. "Since you're up, you can sleep on the couch."
Yunho walked over to me, "No, I think I'm going to sleep
in the bed." I glare at him as he walked over to the bed,
my body stiffening up at the thought of him in bed with
me. "No, you sleep on the couch!" I snapped at him. Yunho
stood there smirking down at me, "What, you afraid that you
would give in to me? Why don't you save us both the fuss and
scoot over." I felt the tiredness in my body and knew that I needed
to get to sleep soon. I move my head to the side looking up at Yunho.
Would it be safe? No, probably not. I sighed and moved over in the bed.
"If you try anything tonight, I'll kill you." I snapped at the were'.
Yunho grinned and slid into the bed beside me, "Just you
don't try anything with me, vampy boy." I curled my lip at
him and turned so my back was to him and drifted off to
sleep.
Yunho's pov
I turn and watch the steady breathing of the other man,
his back rising and falling as he takes each breath.
Suddenly, he turns to his back and groans out. The blonde
locks falling on his face as he threw a arm over his head.
What an interesting man, I thought to myself. Sighing, I
just watch him, not being tired, not yet used to the new
sleeping arrangements. Jae, suddenly, cries out and I lean
over closer. I see his face turn to fear and sweat breaks
out over his face and neck. "NO! No!" My eyes widen as I
hear painful gasps escaping from his mouth. He starts moving
on the bed, in what seems to be a struggling manner, "NO!
STOP!!!" Jae's body starts to strain and thrash on the bed
as he fights his nightmare, "Nahhh!! AHHHH!!" The painful
scream ripped from his throat as tear's ran down his face.
Jae really starts fighting now and I am shocked as he
screams out my name in the darkness. What the hell!! "No
Yunho! Don't! STOP!! AHHH!!!!" I raised up on my elbows as
the door to the bedroom slams open. Junsu runs to the bed
and jumps up on it. Crawling up to Jaejoong he takes the
mans shaking body in his arms, running his hand over his
hair, trying to get Jae to calm down. Muttering words of
comfort gently in Jaejoong's ear. I see him calm down and
then fall back in to a troubled sleep. Junsu lays Jae down
gently on the bed and removes himself to the floor. Junsu
turns his head and glares at me, "This is your fault. He
doesn't sleep after he see's you. All he does is have
nightmares about the night you raped and brutalized him. I
hope your happy with what you did to an innocent man."
With that Junsu walks out of the bedroom, silently closing
the door behind him.
I lay back down as what I just witnessed runs through my
mind. I gaze at the now somewhat peaceful Jaejoong
sleeping next to me. Was he innocent? Did I not see for
myself him killing my parents? No I just saw him bending
over them, not actually killing them. I look at Jae's
face, did you do it, Vampire? I questioned him in my mind.
I slowly succumbed to sleep with Jae in my head.
That afternoon in the kitchen
Jaejoongs pov
I wake up and shower and dress for the day, then make my
way to the kitchen to start breakfast for the guys. I
walk over to the fridge and open it up. Seeing the bagged
blood, I feel pain hit my body, reminding me that I
skipped feeding last night. Grabbing three bags, I quickly
sucked the contents down and threw the empty bags in the
trash. Feeling the pain ease up as the blood absorbs into
my body, I start breakfast. In the middle of preparing
the food, my brothers walk into the kitchen. Junsu comes
up to me, "How are you feeling, Jae?" I glance over to him
from the skillet of scrambled eggs, "I'm fine why?" I knew
why he was asking, I always remember the nightmares, and
the one last night was more vibrant, more real than what
they had been lately. I had just put it off to the wolf
being in bed beside of me."Just wondering. Yunho heard you
last night. He looked confused as to why you were in that
state last night. I think he knows now, though." I sighed
as I stirred the eggs cooking them until they were done and turned off the heat. Not
wanting to talk about it anymore, "Breakfast is done
guys. Make sure you have your blood before you eat, ok." I
poured myself a cup of orange juice as I watched the
vampires fight over the blood and food. Just then the
werewolves stroll in. They all froze as they watched the
vampiress eat the food on their plates. Junsu looks up at
Yoochun, "What? Never seen someone eat before?" Yoochun
shakes his head no, "You guys eat regular food, besides
blood?" Junsu laughed and continued eating. "Who wants to
answer Yoochuns' question?" Leeteuk asked. I sighed as I
started to explain to them. "Yes, we can eat food. We can
drink liquids besides blood. We also have reflections,neither
crosses nor holy water work on us. We don't sleep in coffins, oh,
and at the right time of day we can go out in sunlight, when it's at its weakest.
The nanos in our blood can undo the damage done by weak sunlight.
" Yunho looked over to me, "Nanos? What are those?" I walk over to the
counter and lean against it. "Ok, how about if I give you
guys a brief history lesson. It is said that our ancestors participated in scientific
experiments in the ancient City of Lemuria. The scientists were
trying to make a perfect human. What they got was
us. Beings that were immortal who needed blood to
replenish the nanos in our system to repair damaged done
to our bodies, thats the need for blood, by the way. The
draw backs to being the perfect human, allergic
reactions to sunlight. And these little beauties,"I let my
fangs lenghten, "are the side effects of their
experiments. We do have special skills, I guess you can
call them that. Each one of us posess them, and some of us
have even more special skills than others, like Ryeowook
can read minds and tell whats going to happen in the near
future. I can move things with my thoughts, and certain
ones can do mind control ,and thats enough for now."
I looked around the room, "Is that all? Did I miss something."
I moved over to the table, taking a
seat next to Sungmin. "Nope that's all, I think." Changmin
said as he walked over to Kibum, smiling. I frowned as I
looked around the room. The vampires where acting weird
today. Did they..? No they wouldn't... I look over to
Junsu and see his blush as Yoochun stared steady at him,
smiling at the cute boy. My gaze moves on to Ryeowook who
looked uncomfortable this evening. He kept shifting in his
seat, and biting his lip. At this, realization dawned. My
innocent little vampires where not so innocent anymore.
