Jaejoong sat quietly as Seung Chu left his bedroom, his eyes following the other man out.
Looking down, he clasped his hands in his lap, wetting his lips with the tip of his tongue as he recalled his actions earlier.
He had acted shamefully.
He should have been more considerate to Seung Chu, his husband, in his time of sickness.
It was just that the news of yet another arranged marriage that had set him off.
He's never been angry at being wedded to an older man and never showed any resentment towards the union. If anything, he had been grateful for the save.
So, it's no surprise that he's feeling guilty right now.
Jae signed as he stood up from the bed.
Life isn't fair; he learned this early, at a young age when he and his brothers lost their mother to a womanʼs disease.
Life hadn't been easy when his mother was alive, but, it just seemed to get harder after her death.
That didn't excuse the neglect that they had suffered from their fatherʼs hand; So many years with hardly anything to show for what they did in their life.
To put it correctly, they had nothing to show for their earlier life with their father.
They had left everything that reminded them of their old life behind to start their new life with Lee Seung Chu.
Life isn't fair, but, he is a good wife, and good wives did not yell at their sick husbands.
And that brought reality down on his shoulders.
His husband of two years was dying.
He knew what he had to do.
Walking slowly, he left his bedroom and walked to the room next to his.
Stopping outside the light paneled door, he raised his hand and knocked.
While waiting, Jae turned and looked at the doors behind him.
There are five doors on the opposite side of the hallway, matching the five rooms on the left side.
All the rooms on the right were empty and only one room on the left empty.
All the rooms were the same size, each containing their own bathroom and walk in closet.
Jae remembered the first time he had ever seen his bedroom.
He had stood frozen in one spot.
His whole bedroom was bigger than the little shack that he and his brothers had shared with their father.
He gazed at the door straight across from his room.
Is that the room that his future husband would occupy?
Surely Yunho wouldn't want to move into Seung Chu's room after they married?
That line of thought led to another; a subject that Seung Chu had hinted about earlier.
Would Yunho expect him to share his room?
Jae frowned; he would have to nip that in the bud soon.
He would let Jung Yunho know right from the start that he WOULD NOT be sharing a bedroom with him.
Jae nodded, yes that would have to be the first thing he said.
He would not let his future husband entertain any ideas about them in any kind of intimate way.
Jae turned back to the bedroom at Seung Chu's bidding and entered.
Upon seeing Seung Chu on the phone, he shut the door softly and went to sit on the edge of the bed, just hearing the tail end of the conversation that Seung Chu was having.
Seung Chu held up a finger to Jae signaling for him to hold on a moment while he finished up his phone call.
"Tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow." Seung Chu said, and then paused as the person on the other end talked, "They will help. They will be there early in the morning. It will probably be an all day thing."
Seung Chu paused here again and then smiled, "No, it's not a problem. Everything is ready. We'll see you tomorrow then. Bye."
Seung Chu hung up the phone and turned back to Jae.
"Is there something you need Jae?" Seung Chu asked as he walked over and sat next to the younger boy.
Jae looked down at his hands. He felt guilty. He felt sad, angry, hurt and most of all scared.
Turning dark eyes on his husband, he teared up again, mouth trembling, "I'm sorry, Seung Chu." Jae whispered out.
Seung Chu signed, "It's alright boy. You are entitled to be a little shocked about the wedding."
Jae shook his head, "No. It's not alright. I had no right talking to you that way, and I'm sorry. It's just that I never thought I'd find myself like this again, with a stranger for a husband. And I yelled at you, when you are sick. I'm sorry."
Seung Chu reached out and took Jae's hand in his. "Now, you listen to me, ok." Seung Chu watched as Jae nodded, "Anyone would react that way. It's a lot to take in one day. But, you have to understand. I want you safe, secure and settled down after my passing. I care for you; this is why I'm doing this for you. Yunho is a good man. And in time, I think you will come to love each other. If not love, then close companions, like you and I."
Seung smiled gently at Jae's quick smile, "But knowing Yunho and the way he looked at you, I doubt that that's going to be the case."
Jae's smile left his face and he pouted.
"I'll marry him because you deem it, but, I will not share his bed." Jae muttered as he rose up from the bed.
Seung Chu sighed. His young wife is very stubborn; Innocent about certain things, but stubborn about most.
The older man rose and came to stand behind Jae his hand resting on his slumped shoulders, "It's a wifeʼs duty to make sure the husband is satisfied in all ways, Jaejoong. If he wants you in his bed, then you need to go. You do not want his eyes to go wondering else where." Seung Chu turned Jae to face him. Jae had a very set mouth, but he could see fear setting in his eyes.
"I don't even know him. He's a stranger. How can I give myself to him knowing nothing about him?" Jae searched the older mans eyes for leniency, but found none.
Seung Chu knew he had to stand firm or Jae will talk him out of this arrangement, "You came to me without knowing me. It will be no different for you this time either."
Seung Chu turned and sat in a plush chair, drawing in deep breaths, "Plus, Yunho will be moving in tomorrow. I have asked him to move in so that you two can get to know each other. I realize that you need time, so I'm giving it to you. You will treat Yunho with respect, treat him like he is already your husband, this is not something I'm asking you to do. I'm telling you to do this, as your husband, do this. Treat him as if he were me."
Jae gasped, his eyes getting big. "But Sung Chu-"
Sung Chu cut in, "No buts here Jae. Just follow my demands. You have always done what I've asked, please do this to."
Jae stood his head lowered. Finally, he nodded.
He glanced over to his husband, "Why did Yunho agree to marry me? What did you offer him to make it seem so good to marry a complete stranger?"
Seung Chu shook his head, sadness overcoming him. He somehow knew that this was going to make it harder for the boy to open up to Yunho, to accept him as his husband.
It's going to look as if Yunho was marrying him for money, "Everything. I offered him everything, Jae. And if you don't marry him, you get nothing, like I said before."

Jaejoong, Junsu and Kibum watched the movers as they brought in box after box, going upstairs where the maids were directing them where to put the boxes.
Jae signed as he turned towards the kitchen.
It was afternoon and he had to get the meal together for their 'guests'.
He liked to do the cooking for his family, even though they had maids and kitchen staff that could do this, he enjoyed it.
It was the one thing that could take his mind off his problems. Namely, the one big problem that was moving in today. The one marrying him for the wealth he can gain.
Yunho and his cousins had yet to make an appearance, still at their old residence packing.
Jae was nervous; he remembered how the guy had looked at him the first day, like he was a sweet treat.
Jae shuddered as he thought of those eyes on him. And now he would have to endure them on him for the rest of his life.
He was checking on the roasting chicken when Seung Chu walked in, "Jae. Yunho is here. You need to come and greet him."
Jaejoong bit his lip, as he stared at the counter. The only going through his mind was 'he's here'.
Swallowing hard he walked into the living room where three strange men where gathered.
Walking over, he stood just behind Junsu and Kibum, letting them block him from Yunho's view a little.
Seung Chu saw this and would have none of it.
He walked over to Jae, taking him by the arm as he led him to stand in front of the tall dark man.
Jae looked up and gasped. How in the world was he going to resist him? He was literally drenched in sex appeal.
His heart started to twist as he looked up at his future husband.
Yunho smiled gently and offered his hand, and Jaejoong looked down staring at it, then his eyes shot back up.
He was speechless. He was breathless. He was-
Jae shook his head to clear his mind.
He vaguely heard Yunho saying his name.
But still Jaejoong didn't say anything, didn't move.
He felt gentle hands on his shoulders, "Jae, are you alright?" Junsu whispered into his ear, and that brought him out of it.
Jaejoong met Yunho's eyes, his own narrowing, "I'm not sharing a bed with you. You need to know that right off, so don't think I'm coming to you on our wedding night."
With that Jae turned and walked back to the kitchen a collective gasp heard, and Seung Chu apologizing to Yunho and his guest.

Changmin was aware of the drama taking place between Yunho and his future wife, but his attention kept being drawn over to one the guys, Changmin assumed it was one of Jaejoong's brothers, standing in the corner of the room.
Changmin smiled as the boy see's his eyes on him.
His heart gave a pitter patter and he knew what love at first sight was all about.
He was never the one to believe in love at first sight but now he was a believer, and he felt like he had just started living as he gazed into shining eyes.
Eyes that were looking right back unabashedly.
Changmin grinned as the boy realized he was staring and quickly lowered his head to look at the floor, only to raise them once again to look at him.
Only Jae's outspoken display took him from the guyʼs eyes for a moment.
He laughed and found it funny that Yunho was coming up against this boy.
Yunho's expression was priceless as Jae told him in uncertain terms that there was no sex for him in this marriage.
But, Changmin wasn't blind; they were attracted to each other. It was in their body movement.
Even as Jaejoong denied the sexual attraction, his eyes showed it.
Changmin glanced over to Yoochun and laughed out.
His cousinʼs mouth was hanging slightly open as he gazed at the other brother in open curiosity, and the boy being stared at looking at his brother, playing at not being interested in Yoochun.
But, Changmin could tell by the little tee tell looks he was giving Yoochun that he was indeed interested in the other man.
Interesting. Changmin thought as he looked about the room as Jaejoong made his exit.
This is going to be very interesting.
