The music was pumping through the speakers drowning out the light tinkle as cubes of ice meet the bottom of glasses.
The vampires and their mates moved quickly behind the bar to fill drink orders for a thirsty crowd.
Yoochun glanced out at the over crowded dance floor and he spotted a few woman in the din of manly bodies and smirked.
Those women came here to party and didn’t want to be bothered by unwanted come-ons by drunken men. He understood and as long as they didn't stir up trouble, then he and the others didn't mind and Jae had said that they could stay if they behaved themselves.
The ladies never danced with the other men and kept to themselves. He had heard them laughing about having a great ladies night out and grinned.
He knew for sure that they were in the safest place they could be, even though he did frown at the remarks made by a few of them concerning his Junsu.
Yoochun's eyes swept over to Junsu as the vampire handed a patron his drink. His Junsu was so gorgeous tonight; his light brown hair shining under the fluorescent lights in the depths of the club. His eyes glowed a deep mahogany, glossy amber that made the men in the bar become captivated when they looked into Junsu's beautiful orbs.
Yoochun smiled when Junsu turned and walked over to him.
"You know, you'll never get any work done if you keep staring at me. I know I'm all gorgeous and everything, but really Yoochun." Junsu's lips quivered and finally he broke out into a bright smile.
Yoochun couldn't help but to smile back at the shining vampire. Who would have thought that he and the temperamental vampire would have been life mates, much less would have thought that they had fallen in love with each other.
Yoochun didn't know what he would do now if anything ever happened to his little bubble butted lover. He shook his head.
No, nothing would ever happen to Junsu, he wouldn't allow it.
Yoochun was jabbed in the side by one of Junsu's fingers, and he looked to the front of the club to where Junsu's other finger was pointing. He groaned when he saw DongWook walking through the crowd towards the club office. He knew like the rest of the others not to block this vampire’s path as he walked to the office.
As Dong Wook passed he glanced over to Yoochun and smirked, his thumb coming up to wipe the edge of his lips as he walked on past never deterring from his route.
Yoochun ground his teeth as the man disappeared into the room.
Yoochun, just like the others, had watched as Dong Wook started to come around the club and the house almost as soon as Yunho had left. To Yoochun, he was like a rat coming out from the wood work. Sneaking his way to Jaejoong and then leaving his stinking droppings all over the place.
The hybrid shook his head. He knew that the vampire knew what he thought of him and he really didn't care what the elder thought of him. Dong Wook was a leech and he let the man know that was what he thought of him right from the start.
He stood still drilling holes into the wooden door with his eyes. He did not trust that man.
Junsu had told him not worry about Dong Wook, that Jae wouldn't like the man in a sexual way.
Yoochun hadn't been so sure. He had seen the way that Jae had looked at the vampire and the way the elder had looked at Jae and didn't like it at all. He knew that the older man could control with ease and that he wouldn't think twice about using his gift on the emotionally unstable vampire leader.
Yoochun looked towards the front of the club as he wondered what his pack leader was up to.
He turned to Junsu, who had been also looking at the closed door.
"Junsu, I'm going out for a walk for a little while. I'll be back shortly."
Junsu glanced over at him as he set a drink on the bar. His eyes questioning as he tucked the money into the register.
"You're going to see him again aren't you?" Junsu muttered as he walked closer to his life mate. "Why don't you tell that ass to get back here? My hyung needs him." Junsu said as he pulled him into a hug.
The other guys heard what Junsu had said and was making their way to Junsu and Yoochun. Yoochun groaned as he was surrounded by the vampires and their mates. He knew he was about to get questioned about Yunho's whereabouts.
And he was right. Yoochun was surrounded by vampires all wanting to know the same thing.
Leeteuk glared at Yoochun, "You knew where Yunho was all this time? Why haven't you dragged his ass back here to Jaejoong?!"
Kangin wrapped his arms around Leeteuk, squeezing a little to calm him down, "Leeteuk, Yunho won't come back till he's ready." He muttered to him, in a tone sad.
Sungmin frowned as he looked at the werewolves, "So you all know where he was at? Every single one of you?" He studied Yesung as his life mate looked down towards the floor. Finally, Yesung lifted his head and nodded.
Changmin groaned, "You know, when we became lifemates, I thought we wouldn't keep secrets from one another. I though that we would be more open with each other. I had actually started thinking of you guys as brothers. But, you go and keep something like this from us. Just unbelievable!" Changmin threw his hands up in the air, turned and walked over to the wall of liquor bottles lined up, his back to the pack and coven.
Changmin stiffened as he felt Kibum's hands slid around his waist, laying his head against his back as he spoke,
"Changmin, I'm sorry. Yunho is still our pack leader and he asked us not to tell anyone about his whereabouts because he didn't want Jaejoong finding him. You really didn't want him coming back against his will did you? He would just resent being back here if we did that, and it wouldn't help Jaejoong at all. Yes, it might ease his pain, but you know as well as the rest of us, it's the intimacy that takes the pain away completely. Don't be mad baby, its better this way."
Changmin turned around and took Kibum into his arms, kissing his lips lightly. His silent way of forgiving Kibum, even if he didn't totally agree with what he had said.
Eunhyuk and Ryeowook glared at their mates until they started shifting from foot to foot.
Ryeowook stomped his foot, "That's it! You sleep on the couch tonight. I can't believe you held this out on me!"
Hankyung started pleading with the slender vampire, but he just held up his hand shaking his head no.
Ryeowook turned back to the others when he noticed their inquiring, but subtle looks. He sighed, "What?"
Eunhyuk scooted closer to his brother, "Ryeowook, why didn't you just read their minds? You could have told us and we would have known."
Ryeowook bit his lip as his eyes swept over his brothers, his slim shoulders lifting slightly, feeling like a bug under a microscope, "I just don't go around reading peoples thoughts unless I think they mean harm. I had no clue that these buffoons knew where Yunho was." Ryeowook lowered his head as he continued, "And even if I did I wouldn't have been able to read them anyways."
Everyone was quiet for a moment, then question after question was thrown at him.
"What do you mean you can't read minds?!"
"When did this happen?!"
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?!"
"How did this happen?!"
"Does Jaejoong know?!"
Ryeowook raised his hands, fending off the questions being asked him in rapid session..
"Wait! Wait, one question at a time."
Ryeowook took a deep breath to calm his nerves, closing his eyes. Sometimes he just wished that they were a little bit quieter.
"It happened the night I bonded with Hankyung. I thought it was just him, but then I tried to read one of the girls and I couldn't do it. And I didn't tell you guys because it was my gift, and I still don't know how to deal with it. I've had this gift for centuries and suddenly it's gone. No mind reading, no sensing danger, nothing. I feel like I'm lesser a vampire because of it. What good am I to you guys now that I have lost the one thing I could do? I can't fight, well not that good. I don't have strength. The only thing I had was a way of telling you guys about danger and how close it was."
Ryeowook lowered his head, "I can't even read Jaejoong anymore. I have always been able to read Jaejoong when he wasn't blocking me. I can't read anyone. I'm a useless vampire wasting space." The tiny vampire's voice drifted off softly.
The coven and pack were quiet as they looked at Ryeowook.
Junsu came forward and wrapped his arms around his shoulders.
"You know that's not true, Ryeowook. We need you here with us. We have always needed you, with or without your power. You think we would just throw you away from something you had no control over? You might develop a stronger gift. Have you not thought of that? Maybe your bonding with Hankyung installed something more special into you and it has yet to manifest itself. That is possible and very likely what's happening right now. You just need to be patient for what's developing inside you right now. God help us all but you could be the next stronger, smarter, vampire with a gift we all would love to have."
Ryeowook looked at his brothers and then his life mate. They all had the same silly grin on their faces and he couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Hankyung came over and hugged him and Ryeowook felt love rock him to the core, as he nuzzled Hankyung's neck with his nose.
Whatever special gift he was to receive, he wished he would get it soon. He felt so bare without his power.
Yoochun cleared his throat, "Guy's, I feel that I really need to go now. I need speak with Yunho." Yoochun glanced around as the others nodded and he prepared to take his leave, kissing Junsu before he took off.
Yoochun quickly walked down the street to where Yunho was staying in a hostel. He knew that Jae would be shocked if he knew exactly how close Yunho was to him. It had puzzled him why the other man still felt pain when Yunho was so near by. Maybe it was more heartbreak than actual pain of being separated from a life mate.
He had noticed a trend of Dong Wook appearing and Jae's pain vanishing for a few days. He had no explanation for that. It just didn't make sense to him. Why wouldn't Yunho's nearness ease this pain and Dong Wook, someone who was not his life mate, could?
Yoochun knew that there was a thing in the immortal world that was never explained and it bothered him. The more he thought of Jae and his pain, the more he thought that it was mere heartbreak.
At first Yoochun believed it was a pain of being apart. That first night had been really bad. But, he knew that the pain felt eased and then completely disappeared after a while.
A vampire wouldn't be able to handle that kind of pain all their life. Vampires did die. It wasn't often, but it happened. Then the one left behind would get tired of living; living becoming a monotonous routine for them that even they couldn’t bare.
Their lovers dying before them, the pain would come but then it would ease as time drifted on for the vampire, the bond was a bonding of souls for the duration of their lifespan. Most vampires didn't take lovers after they had found and lost their true love, to the grieving vampire it was just nonsense to think that they could touch another when they had had the best.
Yoochun knew that this was a portion of what Jae was feeling. He knew that the coven leader loved his pack leader more than anything.
Yoochun recalled the night Yunho left. The same very night that Jae had confessed his feelings for the now hybrid. The same night that he had begged for Yoochun to tell him that Yunho would come back to him.
Yoochun took a deep breath as the hostel Yunho was staying in came into view. He paused on the sidewalk as he thought of that night four months ago.
Yoochun hadn't wanted to tell the man what he knew to be the truth. That Yunho had run because he had been scared. Not scared of bonding but scared of love. If there was one thing that Yoochun knew about Yunho, it was that Yunho, when faced with something like this would need time to think. How much time?
Well that all depended on what was bothering him.
Yoochun had felt that Yunho would be back, the two, the werewolf hybrid and the vampire leader, were connected through more than just lust and life mates, there was a feeling that destiny had been at work.
But he still hadn't wanted to give the vampire leader any false hopes where Yunho was concerned. Yes, he knew Yunho more than most, but sometimes Yunho could shock the hell out of a person.
Even though he was sure that Yunho would come back, he kept that to himself.
Though Jae hurt at the time, and Yunho was gone for the moment, he knew that something more was planned out the big scheme of things than just being two immortals that wanted each other.
Yoochun had at the time found it slightly humorous that Yunho and Jaejoong were fighting the same war. Well, Yunho was fighting it alone because Jaejoong had admitted to defeat and declared his love for his pack leader. Now Jaejoong just needed to tell it to the alpha male.
Yoochun shook his head at the memory. How he had wished that he could have told
Jaejoong what he had longed to hear.
But now thinking back on it, Yunho had acted the way he knew he would. It had come as no shock to him that the pack leader had left.
Now it was time for Yunho to come back. To get over being a mule headed leader and do what he wants to do the most, bond with Jae.
Yoochun turned and walked the stepping stones that led to the front porch of the house. When he was half way to the porch the front door opened. Out stepped a figure and the door closed behind him.
Yoochun shook his head; still amazed at the new powers his leader had acquired when he had turned. He knew that Yunho had been learning how to control the powers and was getting stronger by the day. Now he was stronger than any vampire or werewolf alive and faster. Even he still didn't know all the hidden gifts that Yunho had, he was sure that sooner or later he would get to see what Yunho was hiding.
Out of all the werewolves that had turned, none had been gifted with the powers that Yunho had been given. Yoochun wished that he had just a smidgen of what Yunho had. Jaejoong was lucky Yunho was there to protect him in the future.

Yoochun and Yunho.
The younger werewolf sighed as he came to a stop before Yunho, his eyes on the other’s face, trying to read him.
"Yunho." Yoochun greeted his leader as he reached up and patted him on his shoulder.
Yunho studied the younger man, his eyes searching for answers to the questions he had as to why he was there.
Seeing what he wished he hadn't seen, he sighed and nodded his head.
"How long has Dong Wook been there?" Yunho asked with a light dread to his voice, he knew he could read Yoochun's mind, but was really was mindful of Yoochun's privacy.
Yoochun looked around them before he answered, "About fifteen minutes." Yunho knew he wouldn't need that much time alone with Jae. "Jae is more than ready, I think, to just let that Dong Wook do him."
As Yoochun talked, he noticed that his friend and leader had a concentrated look on his face and knew that the man was no longer with him. He studied the man while he closed his eyes.. His shoulders had gone tense, his fingers curling into his palms.
"I thought you loved me?" Yoochun heard Yunho mutter, and he knew that Yunho was talking to Jaejoong.
Yoochun had also noticed that his breathing had gotten faster, his eyebrows knitted together as he concentrated harder on what he was doing. Then suddenly his whole body relaxed, a sigh of relief escaped his lips and he slowly opened his eyes.
"I'm ready to go back. I've been gone far too long, much longer than necessary. I have been a fool Yoochun. A fool who was fighting what he was feeling, but no more. On the next full moon, Jae will be mine forever. I love him and will not stand by any longer and let him be in pain."
Yoochun grinned at his leader, glad to hear that he had come to his senses. "Well, it's about time you realized what you had been missing. Come on, I'll walk with you back to the club. I'm sure Jae will be more than pleased to see you."
Yunho laughed at his friend as he turned to walk down the path with him.. But when the two men came to the sidewalk, Yunho stopped walking and instead he turned and went the opposite direction of the club.
Yoochun watched as Yunho walked off from him, "Yo Yunho! The club is back this way man!" Yoochun stabbed his thumb back over his shoulder.
Yunho turned and grinned at Yoochun, "Yes, but Jaejoong isn't at the club anymore, he's out riding."
"I'll just follow him around, and when he goes home, I'll just knock on the front door and hope he lets me in."
Yunho looked at the moonless night and wondered again why it took him so long to realize that he couldn't live without Jaejoong.
Yoochun grunted as he gazed at his pack leader, "If he'll even let you talk to him. It would serve you right if he refuses to even acknowledge your very existence. I hope he ignores you for a few good weeks that way you'll learn not to mess with him again." Yoochun paused and smiled at Yunho's frown.
"Yoochun, I thought you were my friend. Why are you being a jerk about this? You know how I felt about vampires before we were thrown together with a coven of them and this one killed my parents. I couldn't just up and turn into a life mate with one without thinking through everything."
Yunho watched as Yoochun shook his head at him, "Yunho, Jae did what he had to do to survive. You would have done the same thing. Don't even think of denying it." Yoochun patted his leader on the back a second time.
Yunho sighed as he looked back over his shoulder again. Yoochun was right and he had already come to that conclusion. Jaejoong had been innocent all this time he had been accusing him, and now he wanted to spend forever making it up to him.
God, that vampire had him whipped, and sounding like a sap.
"Yoochun I'm off."
Yoochun smirked, "Yeah, you're off in more ways then one bud."
Yunho scoffed, "Real funny Chun. You're a regular comedian. Alright see you later then."
Yunho turned and Yoochun watched as he walked off, not even a few feet away, Yunho vanished into thin air.
Yoochun shook his head, "I really want that gift." He muttered to himself as he turned and walked back to the club.

Yunho
Yunho floated above the tree tops looking down at the earth. He couldn't believe he could fly. He couldn't believe he could make himself disappear. Hell, there were a lot of things he couldn't believe he could do.
Flying above everyone like this was a rush, one he wanted to share with Jaejoong, and he will share this thrill with the vampire as soon as he could.
Yunho titled his head up and looked ahead of him; his eyes sparkled with anticipation at seeing Jaejoong again. He had longed to show up before the broken vampire just to say that he was there and that he have never left, but he couldn't. He had to be sure first. Be sure that bonding was what he wanted. It was sad to say but he knew within the first week of what he wanted, he was just to afraid of going and getting it. Yes, the big bad wolf was afraid of love. He knew that love could hurt. That sometimes it was not all it was cracked up to be. But, he just knew that Jaejoong held a true kind of love for him, an honest love that would last through out the ages. Jaejoong would stand beside him as an equal, and support him with everything he did, and the same went for him.
Yunho also knew that he had a lot of proving to do when he got back. He knew that Jae wouldn't just all out trust him again, and he couldn't blame him. But Yunho was determined to win that trust back even if it was the last thing he did. And it wasn't all about trust, it was about being there when needed, about Yunho showing Jae he was there for the long haul.
He hadn't meant to hurt Jae. Yunho would have given anything to take back the last four months of pain the vampire leader suffered because of him. He alone knew why the vampire didn't feel his presence even with him being so close. When he became invisible there was a barrier around him that kept him safe. In his invisible state, one could say that all things were cut off from him, even Jae. And when he was visible he made it a point to be far enough away from the vampire that he didn't sense him. But after a month of being gone, Yunho decided to become known to Jae again. He alone with everyone else was wondering why Jae hadn't sensed him. Maybe it was like Yoochun had been thinking, that it was his torn heart that kept him from knowing that he was near.
Even being a vampire now, he didn't have all the answers; he wasn't gifted with knowing everything there was to know about the vampire race. How he wished that he did know everything, it would have made everything easier for him to understand.
He was learning though. Everyday brought something new for him to learn. His strength and his speed came quick. He had to learn how to control his speed and strength. It had amazed him at what he could do. The thing that took the longest was blocking out voices. It was the worst first thing waking up. The voices jumbled in his head and made him want to bury up in sand to escape.
The voices had been the hardest. He had to learn to block them or go crazy. He learnt that very first morning after turning that he had super sensitive hearing Then there was the mind reading. He hadn't even known he could read minds until one night he was talking to Yesung and Kibum.
They had done a very good job of keeping their more private thoughts, well, private. Yunho had had a sudden headache, just for a moment and then when looking at Yesung, he could literally see what the werewolf was thinking. He had shaken his head hard, and then glanced over to Kibum only to experience the same thing.
He hadn't told the boys that he could read their thoughts like they were speaking them and he had found some interesting things about his brethren. Yesung at the time was thinking and wondering if Sungmin could somehow have his children to keep his bloodline alive and Kibum had been thinking of Changmin and what the vampire would be doing at the time and wishing that he was doing him.
Yunho had almost chocked on their thoughts. Not so much Kibum's, because he thought that that was natural. But, Yesung was really in detail at what he was wanting from Sungmin and for a few seconds became depressed that he wouldn't have that wish from him. As Yunho continued to read him, Yesung had remembered what a lucky guy he was to have Sungmin
Those hadn't been the only thoughts the two were thinking. Swirls of instant thinking had curled around in the two's head.
~Jung Yunho you jerk!~
~Just go back to him already!~
~Why are you waiting, don't you know he's hurting?~
~Get over yourself and go back, Jaejoong needs you.~
Had been just a few thoughts he had read, and it amazed him that they thought this and what they saw everyday with Jaejoong. They were there with the vampire leader so they knew also. They saw him, where Yunho could just hear his broadcasted thoughts and felt what he felt.
Yunho came to himself when he saw two thin foreigners not to far from him. He looked them up and down and knew that they were evil. They were with that female vampire Asneath. He could tell by just looking at them. He read their minds and saw what they were up to and knew he had to stop them before they acted on their plans.
He came to his feet, his body now visible to anyone who saw him. He walked forward slowly, his hands by his sides.
The two Egyptian vampires saw him coming and grinned, fangs bared. They were ready for a fight but too bad for them that they were young vampires.
Yunho smirked when the vampire males took off in a dead run at him. He raised both hands, and out of thin air long swords appeared in his hands.
The vampires running towards him tried to stop, but the forward momentum brought them straight to Yunho swords.
Yunho watched their eyes go big as he raised his swords, bringing them down in a graceful double arch that crisscrossed in front of his body, cutting the two vampires in half at the waist.
Yunho finished them off quickly, their heads rolling off their shoulders and their hearts turning to dust in his hands.
The hybrid turned and walked off, his swords disappearing from view, the bodies behind him turning to flame before bursting into thin particles of dust scattering in the ground.
Yunho leaped from the ground, smirking at the vampires he just terminated, he knew that they wouldn't be any problem for him.
No, he wasn't egotistical. He just knew what he knew and he wouldn't take any chances with his new life, not now that he knew who he was living for.
He let his instincts guide him to his life mate, and what he saw when he arrived made him see red.
The female vampire had her filthy hands on his Jaejoong again, ready to end his life.
Yunho landed on the ground beside Jaejoong's heaving body, his eyes taking in his wounded form.
He lifted his eyes to the woman.
She was going to die tonight!

His appearance startled Asneath just long enough for him to raise his hand from where he was kneeled, and sent the woman flying back from Jaejoong's still body with a burst of pure fury.
Asneath lifted herself to her feet, her hand rising, pointing a shaky finger in Yunho's direction.
"You. I thought I had you killed! What is this!" The female bloodsucker screeched out with her face contorting unpleasantly..
Yunho walked forward wearing a deadly smirk on his face. He neared her and stopped, his hand raising again, he lifted the female into the air without touching her and brought her to him.
With her hanging in front of him, he could smell the woman’s fear on her body. She wasn't so great now.
Asneath's eyes widened, "What are you? You're not the same man I told to kill. You're different."
The female read Yunho's mind and she gasped, "OH MY GOD!"
Yunho meet her eyes, "God has no place for you vampire. But Hell has a special seat reserved for you."
Asneath shook her head, her hands gesturing in front of her, "Please. Don't kill me. We can be so good together! We can rule the world. You will be the King and I will stand beside you as the Queen. We will be mighty and no one will be able to defeat us. Think of it. Everything that you have ever wanted could be yours with the snap of your fingers. You will have people worshiping the ground you walk on."
Yunho let Asneath down on the ground as he listened to her. "Everything that I want, huh? And you? I get you also?"
Asneath smiled, suddenly pulling out all of her womanly charms. She knew that she would have to woo this Yunho in order to lure him away from the dying vampire on the ground behind him. She looked at him seductively, batting her eyes at him.
She walked closer to Yunho, pressing herself up against him, her breast brushing up his chest as she looked up into his face.
"Yes, you get me also. Every last part of me. Any time that you want. All you have to do is kill him. End his life and start a new one with me." As she talked, she slowly removed the dagger at the hem of her skirt. She raised her hand behind Yunho's back, ready to plunge the wicked looking blade deep in him.
Just as she was about to bring the blade down, Yunho flung her across the river with the flick of his wrist. He watched as she landed hard against a tree, uprooting it as she slid to the ground, dazed at what just had happened.
Yunho leaped over the river with one hard jump, landing in front of the woman. He kneeled down in front her, grasping her chin with hard fingers.
"You think I would kill my life mate for you? Never would I allow anyone to hurt him! Least of all a skanky bitch vampire. I detest you and everything you stand for."
Asneath laughed, her breath stuttering in her chest, "Life mate? Come on. It's not like the vampire has any feelings for you. Look at him. He’s pathetic, he couldn't even fight me. Why would you want a life mate like him, he's weak."
Yunho leaned forward, his eyes burning hatred into Asneath, "Its called love dear. Something you wouldn't know anything about."
The female vampire laughed, "Love? Please. Vampires don't know how to love. All they feel is lust, want, need. That's what we understand. Love is nothing to us but a useless emotion. You can be with me, and I'll never tire of you, Yunho. I could serve you in bed for the rest of your life."
Yunho drew back, "Have you in bed! I don't think so. Why settle for seconds when you have the best." He snarled at the woman.
Asneath's eyes turned green and Yunho knew she was going to try and teleport herself away from him. Yunho shook his head and conjured up a shield around her to keep her from performing her disappearing act.
She looked at him and smirked, but Yunho could feel the fear rolling off her in waves.
Asneath stood up and brought her hands to her front forming a green ball. Yunho saw this and countered her actions with his own, him forming a giant swirling blue ball of electricity.
Yunho released his when Asneath reared back and let hers loose. The balls of energy met in the middle, clashing into one another creating a huge flash of green and blue light before dissipating into the air.
Asneath backed up, visibly shaking as Yunho walked towards her. In his cupped hands, fire was forming and twirling, getting bigger and bigger straining to be released. He parted his hands and in each hand was a ball of fire. Yunho glared at her, his hatred for the woman shown clearly. He drew one hand back and quickly let the ball of fire fly, hitting Asneath in the chest knocking her back against another tree. He brought the other hand back and let loose the flame of fire and watched as it hit her in the stomach, doubling her over. Balls of fire shot out of Yunho's hand, hitting Asneath in her core and pinning her to the tree as Yunho walked closer and closer to her.
When he was in front of her, he reached out with one hand and lifted her by the throat. Suspending her in the air before him, he stretched his free hand out and a dagger appeared. Yunho settled the tip of the blade at the woman’s throat, the tip cutting into her skin.
"You die tonight witch." And with that Yunho plunged the blade into her neck. Slowly he removed the dagger from her neck.
Pulling her closer to him, he spoke softly to her, "I love my life mate, and he loves me. Nothing in the world would ever tempt me away from him, let alone a female." Yunho hissed the word female as he drew the blade across her neck in the front then across the back of her neck.
Asneath still alive pleaded with him to let her live, promising him that she would leave and never come back.
Yunho sighed and with a quick twist of his knife detached her head. Yunho let go of her body and it slumped to the ground.
He kneeled before the dying vampire and trust his dagger into her chest, where her heart was and cut it out slowly, making sure to remove every piece of it. He looked at the still beating organ before tossing it into the air and smiled when it burst into flames.
Yunho turned to the body, he spread his hands over the body and with his palms lifted up he raised the body, slowly he moved the body over the river, letting it hover over the rushing water. Dropping his hands, he watched as the body burst into flame, the sparks shooting high into the night sky. Yunho heard a loud piercing scream echo from the corpse as it burned all the evil out into the air, the ashes falling into the river and carried down stream.
When the last of the burning body fell, Yunho jumped over the raging river and landed beside Jaejoong.
Yunho lifted the weak vampire into his arms, the movement waking him for a brief moment. His eyes shimmering as he looked into Yunho's eyes. His pale lips parted as he whispered his name.
"Yunho. You came back." JaeJoong’s eyes closed again, his breathing unsteady.
Yunho adjusted Jaejoong in his arms, letting his head rest on his shoulder as he brought his wrist to his mouth and bit. He knew he had to get blood into Jaejoong. Yunho offered his wrist to Jae, placing the wound on Jae's mouth as he opened his eyes slowly and looked at him before he let his teeth out and plunged them into Yunho's arm, sucking greedily of the blood that was offered.
Yunho let Jae feed a while to heal before he cuddled Jaejoong into his arms and stood. "Jaejoong hold on baby."
And with that Yunho flashed them from the river to the front of the covenant’s house, the trip lasting a few nanoseconds.
Jae ripped his teeth from Yunho, his eyes wide at what he just experienced, his belly rolling at the unexpected warp of speed they had just traveled at.
"Oh god Yunho! Sick!" Was all he was able to get out before he tried to heave out all that was taken in.
Yunho sighed as he walked the sick vampire into the house and up the stairs.
He laid Jaejoong on the bed, "Rest Jae. I'll be here when you wake up."
Yunho watched as Jaejoong’s eyes fluttered, but before closing he grabbed Yunho's hand. His eyes searching Yunho's,
"Promise." He whispered, "Promise to be here, Yunho."
Yunho leaned over and brushed his lips against Jae's as his eyes fell shut, "I promise Jae."
Yunho stayed beside Jae until he knew he was deeply sleeping and then gently separated their hands.
He walked downstairs to find Yoochun who was in the kitchen with the others.
Yoochun glanced at Yunho and walked over to him, "Glad to see you back man. Real glad."
Yunho nodded his head, his insides feeling hot as the rest of the pack came to welcome their long lost pack leader home again.
Yunho took a deep breath, "I have something to tell you guys, but I will tell you after I get back. Yoochun would you come with me to get my things? Junsu, you and the rest look after Jae until I get back. He's been hurt and needs as much rest as we can give him."
Yunho saw the weary looks given towards him and knew he couldn't blame them for what they were thinking.
"I am coming back guys. That's why I'm taking Yoochun with me. I will, hopefully, be back before Jaejoong wakes up."
The others nodded and Yunho left with Yoochun, already thinking of being back to be with his vampire that he had missed so much.
a/n I don't think this chapter is all that good. I think it lacked in imagination. I don't know, I just wasn't to satisifed with it.
Just to let you guys know, there are 2 chapters left to this fic before I start 'Runaway Love'. I still haven't decided on the
second plot to write yet, but I will not start that one until 'Falling For You' is complete.
I will try to update quickly, because I'm really excited about starting Runaway Love.
