She doesn't seem to have any problem being barefoot, and her wings don't flutter about nearly as much as most new people, though her head keeps

[he doesn't recognize Luna as yet another New Feather, since he was new, too ---well, not really new, since he arrived here last month. but what she was talking about captures his interest. he decided that maybe it's not so bad to approach and help her.]

[And she turns to look at him, and honestly her first thought is that he looks vaguely like Draco. But, all right. Luna's head tilts to the side in a curious expression.]

New Feather? Is that some sort of new disease?

[his expression remained unchanged. he wanted to ask her questions about the things she'd been talking about, but well. questions can wait. besides, it's impolite to throttle someone he barely know with questions.]

No, it's not. [he chuckled mentally] New Feather is a term for new arrivals.

Oh, I thought it might be some sort of disease or jinx. After all, I didn't have wings last I remember. [She actually kind of likes them though, and she puts back a hand to pat one a little.]
