Random thought: I installed a game earlier and when I click on my Start Button, I am notified that new programs have been installed. How dense do you have to be to need such a reminder? I guess it's usefull for when I install drunk or while sleeping. Just found the reminder to be odd... that's all.

It's probably for people who share a computer! Think about it: if Mike was your roommate wouldn't you want to know what had been installed??
